My partner and I recently stayed at Steigenberger Guilin, and it was a delightful experience. This was by far one of the most gorgeous resorts I’ve ever stayed in. Every single design detail is well-thought of, with customer satisfaction in mind. The view is gorgeous, the walking/jogging trails are flawless, we were speechless. Everything very new and very clean. Staff is polite and always smiling. Truly 5 star. The only downside is that it is 1-2 hr away from attractions & train stations.

Breathtaking place to stay in majestic surroundings. We came during a quieter period but it meant we had the whole place to ourselves. Great breakfast selection. Would consider coming back again when we’re next in Guilin or better yet when temperatures cool down. Jacky (the manager) was really friendly and went out of his way to help us.

hotel was upgraded to Song hotel (6 star). Location is average, because nothing is around.
Rooms were awesome but not room cleaning due to covid. Also, no new towels, coffee etc. on a Daily Basis.
At new years eve we came back home at 1am and there was nobody at reception desk anymore and we had to walk 1,5 Kilometer to our room.
Breakfast room was really cold and we had to wear a winter jacked.

Passing by Guilin, I chose Shiboge. The check-in experience was very good. It was late at night when I arrived at the hotel. The front desk lady and the concierge boy were very hospitable. Breakfast has special Guilin rice noodles. The breakfast manager is very responsible and has been helping customers. He is always busy and pays attention to what customers need special help. He also finds ways to help me store the unfinished medicines. It's really good! I would like to praise the front desk lady who checked in. I saw her name tag and it was Qin Dongdi. She was very enthusiastic at work late at night and left a very good first impression on customers late at night. I will choose this hotel again when I come to Guilin.

Second visit to Shiboge Hotel. The service is first-class and the scenery is first-class. Both children and adults have a lot of fun. This time, Xiao Tan at the front desk provided very good service and upgraded us to a lake view room. It was super comfortable and the scenery was super beautiful. It is one of the few family hotels in Guilin with a high cost performance. The Sea World in the package is also very fun. The children are super happy every time they go there.
