The photos on Trip.com are deceptive and the place is in the back-lanes of Guilin. It is otherwise a nice place to stay, cozy, family friendly, and the hosts are hospitable. The photo attached is the beautiful view that I got from a nearby street.

Uniquely designed building & interior. Located in a quiet neighbourhood, walking distance to Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area. Walkable to Sun Moon Double Pagoda Lake Park. Surrounded by restaurants, shops and amenities. Clean and friendly accommodation with reasonable price. No breakfast on-site. Close to a famous 100 year old Guilin speciality noodle shop.

Very good location to the Twin Pagodas and all other attractions around the 4 lakes. Helpful staff. If you like caves, Reed flut cave is highly recommended (take only the entrance ticket without the attractions.

Unfortunately we didn't get very long in Guilin as we arrived at 10pm and were being picked up at 730am. Back street location away from the city centre, which meant we couldn't find much open when we arrived sadly. I understand it is a good location if you're site seeing in the area. Friendly staff and a good sized room with a decent shower. No coffee in the room, which was a shame as nothing was open when we were up in the morning.

My room was beautiful. The hotel is in walking distance from the city center (15-30 minutes). The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Stayed there with my mom for our time in Guilin. The hotel is super well located and we could walk to all the sightseeing spots or take a bus if needed (but we only needed it once). The neighborhood is beautiful, and you can see multiple local families using the community areas to exercise, dance, do taichi, play cards or play with their children. There is also a delicious Baozi shop around the corner and multiple other restaurants. The people who work at the hotel were very friendly and gave us good advice. They also allowed us to do our laundry at the hotel with no cost.

What a perfect beautiful place in Guilin! Located walking distance from the city highlights, it is a gorgeous stay in this lovely guesthouse. The building is beautiful with a charming rooftop and comfortable rooms. The room was cleaned every day. We got great tips from the host and everyone was very nice to us. A very happy stay, highly recommended!

Lovely quiet hotel with friendly staff. Might be a bit fae from town but we enjoy walking through the more local areas. Thank you for a lovely stay.
