We arrived at night in Guilin by train, so we wanted a hotel near the train station. Location was perfect. Staff not very enthusiastic. Room was very nice and spacious with comfortable beds, good view from the 8th floor window. Negatives: a leak from the faucet made the bathroom floor wet, we could hear a lot of noise (stomping and talking) from our neighbours on the floor above, breakfast was meager. Quite a good option for an overnight stay near the train station.

The location is perfect if you need to take a train and it is not far from shopping malls. The rooms need an extra cleaning and repair.
We had a noisy A/C, and the front desk was very helpful and changed our rooms without any issue.
Staff did not speak any English.

I went to the nearby hotel to look for cruise tour and booked one van to go to airport this morning. As no such service at counter. Room had smoking smell even though l booked a non-smoking room.

Closest ( next building) to the Guilin Railway station. Little far from Guilin North station. We wanted to stay closer to the Stations for better access on time n knew to China travel experiencing without knowledge of Chinese language or any tour guide . We 2 of us r from Bangalore India. Walkable to Elephant Trunk Hill less than 2kms.

Very good location and convenience to find the bus and near the train station. Local food is delicious which nearby the hotel. Just walk 5 mins to train station.

We arrived rather late, at like 1:30 am, could not get a hello (or nihao) out of the receptionist who didnt spoke a word during the whole check in. The room was rather nice, except for the huge leak that was under the sink. Everytime we used the sink, the water would fall on our feet.
This was something that you would see when cleaning the room. We informed the reception but nothing was done.
