This family run establishment is home away from home. They made sure to contact you before your stay to make arrangements for a smooth arrival. The compound is beautiful, with little touches reflecting the owners' taste in art. The room faces the QiXing mountain with a great view of the river where you can observe locals fishing and a random bamboo raft cruising by. The owners also go out of the way to make you feel comfortable and welcome with thoughtful gestures like customising the breakfast menu, daily replenishments of local fruits, and even fresh peonies. The front of the house, 川川 is excellent, from food recommendations, restaurant reservations, driving us to the attractions and dropping us off at the train station etc. One of the best places I have stayed at and will come back again if I return to Guilin. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

From the moment we arrived we felt like part of a family. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, they welcomed us with such warmth and care, helping with everything and always being nearby. We have never felt this well taken care of anywhere before. The home itself is stunning, brand new, spacious, and impeccably clean with tasteful design throughout. On the first floor there is a gorgeous living room and library area, perfect for working or grabbing a snack. The décor is beautiful with thoughtful little details everywhere. The air smells amazing and the view out the window is breathtaking, with three mountains and a river as the backdrop. We are so grateful for such a memorable stay. Highly recommended, it truly felt like a home away from home.

We had an excellent stay at House in Green. The hotel is a gorgeous award winning house and our room was more beautiful and clean than any 5 star hotel. And we had a direct view on the river and mountain. On top of that the young manager was very welcoming even driving us for free to Elephant Hill 5 mins away and gave us many recommendations on what to do there. In addition he helped us order delivery from the restaurant next door and we ate at the hotel’s beautifully appointed dining room complete with serving dishes and cutlery. It was a serene and lovely experience. Finally for a fee, the manager drove us directly to the Li River cruises. I highly recommend House on the Green to everyone visiting Guilin.

Had a warm and lovely stay at House in Green. The place is very clean and public areas are beautifully designed. The room amenities are thorough with anything we might need and bathroom is spacious. The owners are very friendly and helped accommodate to our itinerary and gave local suggestions. Freshly cooked breakfast every day was a great experience. Would recommend House in Green to anyone.

The design & ambience is so calming & serene even though its located on city center. Service is 5 star+++, they helped us to order food & gave many recommendations. The only feedback was the mattress was too hard but this is personal preference.

excellent location right in the middle of the city albeit being next to a lake and mountains. view was beautiful from the room , the butler Chuan chuan was very hospitable and gave us perfect service . Would definitely go back there

This B&B is so good that there is nothing to say about it. The decoration style is fashionable, simple yet luxurious. The whole room is spotless and sanitary, and the facilities are in no way inferior to those of a five-star hotel. The housekeeper Chuan Chuan was very considerate and attentive. He kept giving us useful information and insisted on picking us up. Staying here for two nights felt like being with family. There was really nothing to complain about. In the end, the owner even gave me two hand-made Jingde tea cups as souvenirs. It was such a surprise and I am so grateful! This thought makes me feel warm in my heart! ! If I go to Guilin again next time, I will definitely visit you as a friend. Of course, you must reserve a room for me! !
