Looking for rice fields homestay (Guilin Liangjiang Sihu Ludi Scenic Area)

We needed a hotel for an overnight stop before reaching our final destination, as we were two families with small kids. The journey was quite long, but it went relatively smoothly. Upon arrival, we discovered there were no food options available. There was no restaurant and we couldn’t even arrange for delivery. We were informed that any food requests had to be made 24 hours in advance. The staff member tried her best to assist us, but the language barrier made communication difficult and frustrating, even with a translator. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, although the mattress was a bit firm. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a fantastic room that had an impressive view! Overall, for the few hours we stayed, it was okay. However, I don’t think I would choose to stay here again, especially with kids or for a longer duration, since we couldn’t order breakfast or food in the morning. We were also the only guests staying at the time.

We really like the place , environment and also the house , btw the view is so good , and the house keeping are really nice and friendly 🫶🏻

Horrible stay and service. The place is empty and run down, no wonderd why they are so bad. My wife had and emergency surgery which is why we were not able to take our clothes from the laundry. The staff piled wet clothes for 3 days, until I was allowed from the doctors to go back to the hotel. This is so stupid an heartless, even though they knew we were at the hospital. We planned after her surgery, because it would've been easier for us to stay here longer and the delicious food prepared from the staff, but after this ridiculous action we preferred to go somewhere better. Everything advertised is also a lie, empty pool, no glass ceiling, no view from the rooftop. They only say sorry instead of adjusting their prices for misleading pictures.

Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Very quiet location with very little traffic. Just an occasional electric scooter running by every once in a while, otherwise just birdsong and nature sounds.

Nice hotel if you are just looking for a room. Rest everything is self service no person at reception. Location is scary at night time. But room are clean and nicely decorated.

Super friendly staff, very helpful and a very interesting location - in the countryside but super close to the city which we really liked. The room was spacious as well. A few things to improve: the aircon wasn’t powerful enough to keep the room temp comfortable on a summer day, and there is mostly no air conditioning in the public spaces which makes it super hot. The room also sometimes had a funny smell. Overall I’d say it was ok, but could improve with a few small changes.
