5 STARS because the staff was exceptional! Very friendly, courteous, helpful, attentive, engaged, kind. Very large lobby for gathering or relaxing. Nice little bar area for socializing and meeting others. Large dining area with plenty of seating for a single traveler to a large group. Room (2 queens) was pleasantly comfortable. Linens are soft, light and weighted to keep you warm but not sweaty. Bedding as comfortable and allowed for good rest and relaxation. Pillows were also comfortable. Lots of sitting and desktop space but a lack of storage - just three drawers and a closet; this was a bit tight for 3 travelers from Thursday - Sunday...but we made it work. Bathroom was spacious. Fridge but no microwave. Lots of counter space and a couple cubby slots for storage. Traditional bath/shower combo. Bath linens were scratchy soft. A decent fitness center. Nice campus that is maintained. Overall, extremely satisfied with our stay here. Highly recommend.

We were very disappointed in our recent four night stay. A major factor in choosing this hotel was the indoor pool. On the night of our check in we headed straight to the pool only to be met with a sign saying it was closed. When I politely inquired about it, the gentleman at the front desk could care less, didn't offer any apologies, and said it might be open next week or maybe not. We paid a premium to stay at this hotel (about $400/nt) because of a convention in town that we were not a part of. The pool closure was not listed on the website, in my booking confirmation, or in any of the other confirmations I received leading up to our trip. I did call customer service to voice my concern so we'll see what happens. The other big issue was housekeeping. There was a sign saying that you needed to request housekeeping. Reasonable enough. On the second night my husband went to the front desk to request it. He was told that we needed to request it in the morning. Okay, fine. So in the morning he goes back to the front desk and this time was informed that housekeeping is only provided every four days. Seriously?! So we were there for 4 nts/5 days and paid over $1700 and wasn't provided with any housekeeping. Totally unaccepable. The shining stars of this property were the women in the food area who were super pleasant and hardworking. I would not recommend this property. Look elsewhere.

My 18 year old son was delayed while driving home by himself from college. Rather than drive through the night and risk drowsy driving, we opted to find him a place to sleep for a few hours and then resume his trip the next day. I started calling hotels along his route at 1am. Numerous hotels turned him down due to his age (I guess 18 is old enough to join the military and vote, but not to stay at a hotel - even when continuing to drive creates a risk) or the hotels' nightly room audit procedures. Thank goodness we found the Comfort Suites Whitsett - Greensboro East! The front desk clerk was so helpful (I believe she said her name was MaryAnn?) - she confirmed that they had availability and would accommodate an 18 year old and would even give him a walk-in discount. My son easily checked in at 3:30am and spent a comfortable night in this welcoming hotel that was easily accessible from I-85. Thank you!!

I was here in the Greensboro area for job interviews, due to a great prospect and wanting me to do additional face to face interviews I had to extend my stay an additional 3 days, this put me at 08 days at the hotel. One of the hotel staff came to my room and informed me that if I was planning to stay any longer that I would have to vacate the hotel for 72 hours then I would be welcome to stay up to an additional 6 days, then I would have to check out for 72 hours once again. I asked what the reason for it was and they said it was company policy, that they are doing this because they don't want people living out of the hotel. I wish I had known this before booking the additional 3 days because I wouldn't have stayed there. They are advertising that the price of the room includes Free Breakfast, totally untrue they have had ample time to remove this statement. The reason why they are not offering breakfast is due to the Covid 19 pandemic, correct me if I'm wrong but the pandemic is over two years old.

The mattress in the sleeper sofa had a large blood stain. Hotel staff refused to move me because they were sold out, they did discount my rate. With other Convention-area Marriott hotels booked, I tried to make it work and asked for a mattress pad - they didn't have any! They told me they had no way of treating the stain because housekeeping was only there in the morning, but no effort was made to sanitize the stain the following day. Still no daily housekeeping (”due to Covid”) and the room shows the signs of that neglect. Carpet turned socks brown, the walls are dirty, the bathroom was not clean, the furniture is worn and needs to be replaced, the room had an unpleasant smell. Daily housekeeping may not have been an option at the height of covid, but it's time to bring this back so that rooms can get the care they need instead of being turned over quickly after a light clean when a deep clean is needed. The remote didn't work with the tv - only way to get the thing off was to unplug at the wall. Front desk staff largely unhelpful and almost argumentative. When I inquired about the mattress, I was told ”what do you want me to do about it?” I've try to be brand loyal to Marriott but I will never stay at this hotel again.

GGuest UserI'm sure some of the rooms here are very nice, but though mine was ”superior” (according to Wyndham), it wasn't one of the very nice ones. It was in a wing of the complex accessed through a maze, overlooking the parking lot on one side, and with a window to the dining area on another.
The dining area window was interesting in the morning when I, in my underwear, opened the shutters to let in some light and discovered a crowd having breakfast.
Other things that contribute to a subpar experience: bathroom sink that didn't drain, no convenient outlets next to the bed for charging, no light switch next to the bed, confusingly placed wall switches, uninteresting TV channel selection. Bar closed at 9? 10? too early anyway.
Breakfast was nice, in a nice, though small, corner of a room. The older part of the building is beautiful. Pleasant outdoor porch seating areas.

During my stay I was charged on my credit card something not supposed to be charged and without my previous approval and signature, this is not professional at all. Luckily I saw my credit card statement before to leave the hotel so I complained…watch out for unauthorized charges!!!

Our flights were delayed and the original hotel that was booked was some dump we came there and they were having a manager's reception and Kenneth was a great manager that assisted Levon. The Embassy Suites Hilton brand used to be a very safe bet, but if the Greensboro Embassy Suites if by far the worst hotel I have stayed in in the last twelve months. Most certainly the worst Embassy Suites I have ever stayed in. The rooms are never cleaned, never serviced without having asked for it, but you are not told this when you check in. Their excuse??? - we cannot get the staff - UTTER BS - pay a good wage you will get the staff. Breakfast is really low grade poor quality food, the coffee was disgusting, ON the second day we had breakfast at McDonalds that's how poor the brekky was at this hotel Rooms are in need of some major TLC and the managers reception/happy hour is now reduced to a two drink, bottom of the rack booze, that a skid row wino would turn his nose up to - this is dumbing down at its worst We will not be staying there again, unless they bring this hotel back up to the standard that one would get They are charging top dollar and providing bottom dollar service Why are the Americans accepting this poor value for money???

We were allotted plenty of space for the two of us and we did not have any hassles except for not being able to connect to wifi until the following morning of our two day stay with Super 8 which was ok considering the first night we went directly to sleep.

GGuest UserOnly bad thing was bathroom was in need of maintenance. But the room itself was very nice. Bed was actually more comfortable than the one I have at home. Staff was quick to help with any concerns quickly. Would definitely stay here again. Excellent stay!
