The mattress in the sleeper sofa had a large blood stain. Hotel staff refused to move me because they were sold out, they did discount my rate. With other Convention-area Marriott hotels booked, I tried to make it work and asked for a mattress pad - they didn't have any! They told me they had no way of treating the stain because housekeeping was only there in the morning, but no effort was made to sanitize the stain the following day. Still no daily housekeeping (”due to Covid”) and the room shows the signs of that neglect. Carpet turned socks brown, the walls are dirty, the bathroom was not clean, the furniture is worn and needs to be replaced, the room had an unpleasant smell. Daily housekeeping may not have been an option at the height of covid, but it's time to bring this back so that rooms can get the care they need instead of being turned over quickly after a light clean when a deep clean is needed. The remote didn't work with the tv - only way to get the thing off was to unplug at the wall. Front desk staff largely unhelpful and almost argumentative. When I inquired about the mattress, I was told ”what do you want me to do about it?” I've try to be brand loyal to Marriott but I will never stay at this hotel again.

I stayed at this hotel while visiting the ACC basketball tournament since it's close to the Greensboro Coliseum. The location is perfect, right by the Interstate and close to everything I needed in Greensboro. I got to the hotel later at night after the late game, and went straight to my room. The room was fine. The next morning I was woken up by the sound of what sounded like a sawzaw at my head and it was so loud. I wish I had known they were doing construction because I really would have liked to sleep a little later. I went to get breakfast and the breakfast was fine. I asked to be moved, and the lady moved me to another room. The second room was fine as well. The one thing with the showers, is they have a texture to them along with an off color, and they feel dirty. There was no visible dirt but the appearance is that they are very dirty. It's just how they're designed. I did not like them at all. Also, I always back my car in. It had rained, and they have not mowed the grass. I had to stand in tall wet grass to unload my car. I could have pulled in to avoid this problem, but I NEVER pull in parking spots. Outside of the construction noise, shower texture and tall grass, this is a good hotel in a good location. Next year I will stay somewhere else but this isn't a bad property and I wouldn't tell people to go elsewhere. I am just picky.

OMG, the bed just wraps me in it and the pillows were to die for. The overall experience was a dream. I was having a very bad day. Our flights were delayed and the original hotel that was booked was some dump we came there and they were having a manager's reception and Kenneth was a great manager that assisted Levon. Awesome front desk staff.

The hotel lobby is lovely with high ceilings, that’s about the only good here. Elevators were dirty and sketchy, at best. The bed was the most uncomfortable accommodation I have ever slept on. I have a back ache from the crappy mattress. The breakfast buffet is $12! But when we came down at 9am (it closes at 10) the food was nearly gone and what remained did not look appeasing. The pool area has like five chairs for parents and we had to ask for pool towels 3x before anyone brought any down. The pool had maybe 16 kids and they brought ten towels. This place is a waste or money.

My nephew and I were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room as opposed to the price we paid. We were allotted plenty of space for the two of us and we did not have any hassles except for not being able to connect to wifi until the following morning of our two day stay with Super 8 which was ok considering the first night we went directly to sleep.

I Communicated With Jennifer-”Front Desk” That Was Friendly & Professional That Made Me Feel Special As A ”Marriott Hotel Guest”. I Feel Based On My Gender & Race That Was The Reason Why I Was Approached Unprofessional That Made Me Feel Unwelcomed As A ”Marriott Hotel Guest”! I Had A Moment Where I Wanted To CRY! The front desk clerk (assistant manager) made the entire stay bearable and worthwhile. The price of $100 was a bit steep for that particular hotel and its location. For that reason alone, I’d likely never recommend this hotel to anyone, as I can easily book a 3 star hotel for about $80.
