Not 5 star - No water on some days for showers, flushing toilets or drinking. Ants all over the apar**ents in kitchens & bedrooms and is a known problem. Basic amenities not provided (tissues, extra toilet paper, vanity kit) and items not re-stocked - they are particularly reluctant to replenish dishwasher tablets, so buy your own to avoid hassle. Cleaning / housekeeping is very poor - no hoovering or sweeping (probably why there are ants). App to order items does not work and fixing timings for cleaning is offered but they don’t actually come when requested. Manager very nice but seems cannot fix problems and reception staff reluctant to help and there is no communication between teams (baby cot requested before arrival but never set up by housekeeping and required lots of calling to get). Pool is beautiful but no poolside service and it is very difficult to get towels or umbrellas - you must do it yourself (pool staff on AirPods & hide in the pool store room). Terrazas is 4 star & down the hill and is a better experience for less money.

My stay at the hotel was an impressive experience, earning it a personal rating of 9.5/10. From the moment I entered the lobby staff made me feel genuinely welcomed. The aparment were spacious and equipped with modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable and luxurious stay. Apar**ent cleaning service provided a level of cleanliness and professionalism that left a positive impression. The dining experience at the hotel's restaurant, Tagara, was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a seamless dining experience. Despite the outstanding experience, the only minor drawback was some construction noise which was notified before booking. The hotel's efforts to minimize disruptions were appreciated.

We really enjoyed the stay in this paradisiac resort. The houses are equipped with everything you may need, 3 perfect swimming pools and private transfer to move inside the resort and to go the beach. A special thank to Aaron, our first contact in the hotel and transfer, that helped us with all our necessities and explained us how everything in the house worked. Definitely going back in this hotel in the near future!

We spent 2 weeks over the 2023 Chris**as period with our family. Before travelling, I noticed a review who reported construction noise so I checked with the hotel and they reassured me that if was happening but it would be very far and would not disturb us. Every single days, apart from the week end and festive days that are off we had to live with hammer noise from 7am until 6pm. It was a nigh**are, impacted our son’s nap, and fair to say that we did not relaxed at all. For this because I have been lied to I received a 40% refund of our stay, I still believe that what we paid was way too much for the service. And I really believe that between Chris**as and New Year’s Eve when the entire planet is on leave, this should have been paused. First of all, this is not a hotel, this is bunch of flats and villas owned by private owners and they have put 3 restaurants there to make it look like it’s a hotel. Reception was answering the phone 10% of the the time and I had to confirm myself the booking for a our new year’s eve dinner as no one was doing it (had to actually go and talk to the restaurant myself). House cleaning was randomly happening. All pools ran out of towels every single day. The breakfast buffet was an utter joke, super minimalist, not even good, you have to count the fresh fruit… lots of too sweet pastries… There were a lot of mix up with our orders at the Tagara restaurant, it was way more professional at Melvin. We all got sick once after having lunch at the bar restaurant by the pool. The kid club was nice but they have too many children to look after so can’t properly look after the children. We tried the golf but the hammer noice was making it impossible to focus. They can take you to the nearest beach with a van, Tommy is very good. The other driver is on a mission to make you throw up. The beach has zero interest, dirty, loads of people. I am still chocked by the amount of money we paid for such an awful time. I will finish with some pros: the pool by Tagara is the best for kids as it’s heated and the flats were brand new and functional.

I hate to waste my time writing a bad review, I’m the last one to complain about anything, but here I feel the need to tell others our experience. These 3 problems happened: 1) We bought an apar**ent for 3 days including breakfast. We were welcomed at the reception with a lot of information from a nice lady including information about time of breakfast, lunch and dinner in Abama’s restaurants. Tagara restaurant was in the Jardines part where we were accommodated and Melvin in Terrasas part (this one was closer to us). The apar**ent’s card had info about the time of breakfast in Melvin. From what me and my wife understood we could have chosen which restaurant for breakfast we want to go. So first day we ordered transport and asked driver if we should go to Tagara or Melvin, he said he felt a good smell from Tagara so we went to Tagara and it was very good, then we went for a walk to check swimming pools and we got to Melvin which is next to the pool. We told the waiter we are from Jardines and that we already had a breakfast in Tagara, she said next time we should go to Tagara as we are from Jardines which was a new information for us, we agreed. It was around 11am so the waiters already took off like half of all the breakfast food away, we initially wanted only a little bit of papaya for our 8 months old but then we were offered a menu, we were already full but we said we will share one egg benedict (literally 1 egg) thinking it doesn’t matter if we eat here or there, + we tried a little of the ham and a tea. That was all the food that we could eat in Tagara as well. Then we received a bill for 2 persons 24 euro each = 48 euros, but I thought that must be just some intern thing to keep bookings correct and if there is any problem, we will deal with that at the checkout, because after all we paid for a breakfast. It happened in many hotels to us that they wanted to sign a cheque after breakfast (but usually with a zero amount). 2) We got a beautiful apar**ent with a nice view. It was a 2 bedroom, although I think I paid for 1 bedroom so that was nice surprise even though we were only 2+1. I was really happy at the start and told my wife we need to tell to our friends we found something really worth it. After we woke up from the first night a big noise from construction works right behind our apar**ents which we were not informed of. We were inside the apar**ent with closed windows and it was still very distracting, even more because we had a baby. The noise took all day. We hoped it was just an exemption and we didn’t really want to pack and unpack our things by moving elsewhere. The next day it was all day long the same and also at the breakfast at Nagara so we struggled putting our baby sleep there. I wrote a feedback in the Abama’s system but nobody replied. I called to the reception that the next day we’d like to have a breakfast at Melvin (which is supposed to be a lower level from Nagara) because of the noise and they agreed, which we appr

Booked 9 nights direct via the website. Arrival by car was difficult as there are no directional signs for reception so you have no idea where to check in. After stopping at Las Terrazas at the restaurant we were given instructions on how to find reception for Los Jardines. Reception greeted us warmly and a staff member guided us with a golf cart to our building and assisted with luggage to our suite. I have to say staff are great from reception to technical to poolside etc. And staff are eager to provide you with supplies to make your stay comfortable. Our one bedroom suite was beautiful. Everything is new, the bed comfortable and amenities are provided such as shampoo/conditioner, bathrobes/slippers etc. The kitchen is supplied with dishes, glasses, dishwasher supplies however a towel would be an asset to wipe water from glasses out of the dishwasher. A sponge and liquid soap can be requested for cleaning and there is a cloth provided for cleanup/wiping counters. The TV is a smart TV so you can sign in to your streaming subscriptions. The terrace is a pleasure to spend time on. There are chaises that would benefit from cushions as they are quite uncomfortable to lie on for any length of time. However the table and chairs are fantastic again everything is still so new. Housekeeping is thorough and everything is very clean. Snacks, drinks and lunch around the pool is excellent and again staff are eager to look after you and keep you happy. So why the low score for a review?? In our 9 nights we had hot water for 3! Our 1st night the water wasn’t hot but we didn’t think much of it, thinking we may be the only ones in the building and the next day will be better. Not so … and unfortunately we contacted reception too late in the 2nd day after 4:00 pm for maintenance to fix the issue. The 3rd night the problem was resolved but the hot water tap still had to be on full to have a pleasant shower (?). The next 2 nights we had ‘hot’ water. Then our last 3 nights - same problem. Contacted reception again but by our last evening we gave up on a hot shower. The resort has been operational long enough that this should not be a problem. At this price point for accommodation you expect hot water. Staff were apologetic and provided a bottle of wine and chocolates which were appreciated but in the end we had too many cold showers.

Before I dive into my full review, I just want to stay how wonderful our stay was at Los Jardines. We picked here at 3 weeks notice and was taking a little bit of a gamble given the lack of reviews but my goodness it was worth it and I need everyone to know how good it is here. As this resort is new, it was not very busy and had this beautiful air of calmness about it which made our stay super relaxing. Apar**ent - Modern, spacious, clean - Decor was so nice, we took inspo for our own home we loved it that much - Equipped with top quality appliances including coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven, juicer etc.. and brand new plates, glasses etc… - Super king bed which was super comfy. We definitely didn’t have any problem sleeping - Easy to use air conditioning - Excellent views - Large balcony with loungers and an eating area - Indoor living room and dining space - I would not expect such a large amount of space for a 1 bedroom apar**ent, we were blown away. - His and hers wardrobes that light up when you open them or get near them - Sockets by the bed with USB and USBC ports aswell as European plugs Facilities - Large heated infinity pool, lots of loungers and cabanas that are never full. It is the absolute perfect temperature and a decent size where you can swim lengths if you want to. I’d say it’s probably 35m in length but don’t know for certain - Restaurant and bar by the pool with a range of options - Free transfer to the beach, Melvin restaurant, golf course and the other hotel in the same complex. It arrives within minutes once you call and is super handy as it’s not a quick walk to some of the places (the beach) - Golf course - it is one of the top golf courses in all of Tenerife, I think it might actually be #1. If you are staying at Abama then you get a discounted rate. Rate includes a buggy. The course wasn’t busy and my boyfriend was able to phone up at a few hours notice and get a tee time. There is also a driving range, putting green and chipping. Note: my boyfriend didn’t hire clubs from Abama but used a hire company in Tenerife who drops them off for the entire week, this was not only cheaper than bringing his own but also cheaper renting per round from Abama. - Tennis & Padel tennis courts, also available for kids camp/lessons - On site gourmet shop - it mainly does meats, cheeses and wine. We also managed to get a delivery of fresh bread from here to our room for 9am the following morning which was excellent. - Reception works until 11pm at Los Jardines but 24/7 I believe at La Terrezzas which is the other hotel. We arrived late and reception what’s apped us with some numbers for local takeaways which was really handy. During our stay we had the Chinese and the Indian and they were top quality but at a great price! - Daily cleaning as they are serviced apar**ents, they will also top up your coffee pods and dishwasher tablets General - Nearby towns Playa de San Juan (we went here a lot as it has restaurants, a cash mac
