"The hotel owner is very welcoming and the room is big, but I think the hygiene can be improved. When I walked in, there were bath towels on the toilet floor and the drawers were opened. In terms of transportation, it is very close to the airport, and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to ~"

"The hotel is in a perfect location where you can get lots of restaurants and shops nearby. It’s easy to get there from the terminal without ups and downs the bridges. Our room has a balcony facing the river and you can see the boats passing by from time to time. The hotel also gave us a wine as a gift when we arrived which is very sweet! There is also a cute cat from the neighbour visiting us throughout the stay."

"The room was big and spacious , and the view from our hotel was also good . We really liked and enjoyed . The only issue we had is the bathroom , it was on the second floor and we are on the first floor. When we asked about it on the reception , the staff on the time at 2 pm on 18-3 was quite rude. I dont know why she need to yell. Its better to say in a polite manner."

"The room and the whole hotel are very clean. When we checked in, the boss was very patient and explained in detail. The breakfast was rich in variety. The boss also took the initiative to put together two breakfast tables for the four of us. The details were very detailed. We first booked a family room for one night to try it out, and the next day we added a standard room for one night at the front desk. Although the price was much more expensive than the family room, the room was much larger and it was worth the money. It was really a pleasant, warm and comfortable stay!"

"You need to walk about 15-18 minutes on foot to reach the hotel from the city. No lift, only the staircase. Very good staff (Good hospitality). Worth for the money. A budget hotel. Breakfast is average. No hot foods. But better than nothing ☺️ It is good before you going out or your flight. We got all room amenities. I recommend this place anyway."

"In Italy, where accommodation is more expensive than in Japan, I think it's a good value for money to be provided with a private room, albeit with a shared bathroom. We were welcomed by an Indian person living in Mestre. Check-in is by calling the phone number posted on the address, so it's better to have a SIM card (there seems to be public Wi-Fi, but you can't connect without an Italian phone number)
Another thing to keep in mind is that the door is thin, so if someone speaks in the hallway, you can hear everything."

HHEYUANThe place is very very convenient, right next to the ferry station and therefore you don’t need to carry your luggage walk in the old town - which is very tiring and embarrassing.
The ferry takes less than 20mins from the bus and train station, it’s very easy to travel to the airport - less than 1 hour.
It’s also very close to major attraction points of the city, very walkable.
The room is clean and nice, very classic Italian decoration. The building is also very unique - the staff told us the building has over 500 years history.
Recommended to everyone who wants to stay in the old town!

AAnonymous UserThe antique hotel in the scenic area has two routes to reach the hotel from the train station. Turn left at the train station and cross a bridge. Turn right and cross three bridges. It takes 10 minutes to walk. It is more friendly for people with large suitcases. The door is relatively hidden. There is a Chinese-run supermarket next to it, and the room facilities have a sense of history. When I checked in, the boss was very enthusiastic to help carry my luggage upstairs, and introduced how to buy tickets, take the water bus to various attractions, and take a boat to watch the sunset at dusk.

JJojochongWe are given a room which is a distance away from the reception - where there are no shelter, involved crossing a bridge and stairs. it was raining when we checked in - which results in great inconvenience. The place we were located at does not have lift and we are on the 2nd floor. Take note to those who wants to book this place w big luggages.
Other than that, room itself was clean and decoration was nice and modern. Aircon does not appear to be working as we felt that there isn’t ventilation in the room when windows are closed (for safety reasons). Room comes w free Mini bar as there were no breakfast.

It is relatively safe to stay there. The door is locked at all times. You need a key to enter and exit. There is no elevator. AAnonymous UserThe location of the hotel is very good, on the main island of Venice, it takes a while to get off the train station. The hotel is quiet, open the door from the street, there is a large internal space, there is a small yard, you can sit here, read a book and read a computer is very convenient. However, I didn’t pay attention to this when I booked. This is a homestay and not a hotel. There is actually no service here. No one cleans for a few days, but the room is very small and there is really not much to clean, but the most inconvenient thing is that there is almost no place to put things in the room. The practicality is very poor, there is a small table, it is full of things, it is very crowded, and the two boxes are not easy to find a good location to open. Check-in and check-out here are self-occupied. The rooms on the island look like there are no screens. It is too stuffy without opening the windows. There are many mosquitoes that are very poisonous. The room is equipped with electric mosquito coils, but the taste is really awkward. I pulled out the electric mosquito coil and chose to open the window for a short time.

GGuest UserWe had a perfect stay at Granda Sweet suites! Having read some mixed reviews we weren’t sure how things were going to go, but our expectations were pleasantly exceeded!! Check in was easy, room was very clean with amenities in the bathroom and a coffee maker with pods! The common room was gorgeous with views of the canal - we sat here every day to enjoy the views by the window! Our checkout was perfect we left our luggage at the property until 3.30pm which we then came back to collect! Excellent stay at this hotel and would recommend to anyone! It is around 13 minutes walk to Rialto bridge - very easy!
