"We had a lovely two night stay at Ammonite Lodge where we found a very warm welcome. The accommodation was very comfortable and was as accurately described. Our hosts provided an excellent breakfast and a very quiet stay which we really appreciated. The location is very good for walking to the centre of Chard a matter of only a few minutes where there is ample choice of places to eat & drink in the evening. We also visited the nearby reservoir which is lovely to walk around after breakfast. Definitely recommend the Ammonite for a great value stay."
