Beautiful cabins nestled in the Redwoods - My first visit was in 2009 and it was a bit rustic back then but still a gorgeous location. In the years since it has become fairly luxurious and the restaurant is exquisite! It's my favorite jumping off point to the Russian River Wine Country!

The stay was so lovely! We were only there for a night but the spa center catered to us so well and we had such a great experience. The space itself is kept so nicely and the staff were so friendly. I would have loved to stay for longer! The location is also in a great area surrounded by trees and in walking distance to restaurants and stores. We loved it so much we will looking forward to the next time we get to stay!

It rained the entire weekend and we still had a great, relaxing time. Friendly and efficient staff at both the front desk and the Lodge bar and restaurant, as well as the spa. We stayed in the smallest cabin which was snug, but due to the rain we weren't able to enjoy our little deck which would have provided more space. The Lodge is comfy and always available even when the bar was closed - we played board games there and read books. The spa's mineral bath experience was lovely - 30 minutes was ideal, as the baths are hot and we were ready to get out from our soak after that time. The town of Guerneville is truly just minutes away be foot - ideal for wine tasting and eating at one of the lovely eateries along the main street.

Dawn Ranch was AMAZING! I highly recommend staying there. The staff was wonderful, and the breakfast was so good. It was super easy to check in and get settled into my room. It is a short walk to downtown, which makes it really convenient to get around. I will definitely stay there again.

Firstly, I don't think I would have heard visited Guerneville if it were not for Dawn Ranch. I read about Dawn Ranch in a Conde Nast article. As soon as you park and leave your car, the fresh air almost shocks me because I realize I just have not been breathing air that fresh. On arrival to our room, all of the touches screamed quiet luxury. The toiletries were all Le Labo. The chic design of the rooms (we stayed in the Redwood Chalets). 4 girls in 2 rooms were more than enough room for us. There were complementary locally sourced drip coffee and teas. We loved the chic and functional kettles and hair dryer as well as the inclusion of a heating seat pad. Everything was just so well thought out! Not to mention the location is extremely convenient: right next door to a Safeway and Guerneville Taco truck, 1 block away from coffee shops/bakeries.

My husband and I had a little getaway at Dawn Ranch and it was truly amazing. The cabins are so cute and cozy, the grounds are so nice, the food at The Lodge was unreal - especially the coffee and in-house baked pastries in the morning, and the staff was so nice and friendly. We can't wait to go back and experience Dawn Ranch in the summer to! I also had a chance to enjoy the spa and will certain get another massage when we come back!

I'm not sure where these negative reviews are coming from. Truly was the most perfect hotel and stay that we have ever had. We only stayed 1 night as a parents getaway and loved every minute. Roaring fireplace at the restaurant to sit and enjoy coffee, comfortable rooms, felt like camping but with all the amenities. Planning to go back with our daughter next month as we saw a few families there as well enjoying the grounds. Great value as well considering the price of other hotels in this area.

Disappointing. Room was next to the power supply for the entire property. Didn’t feel very as clean and comfortable as portrayed. Restaurant looks nice, if you can get a table before your stay. Otherwise- good luck to you. Nothing was spectacular.
