We loved this hotel. The desk clerks were friendly and spoke very good English. The rooms are clean. The towels and sheets are clean and fresh with no fragrance smells. The hotel is quaint and very pretty inside. It is close to the bus stops and the elevators to take you to the upper levels of the old town. The desk clerk was very helpful with directions. The breakfast is very reasonable @ $8 EU pp.

This was to be our second visit to Gubbio and the San Marko Not the most attractive building but don’t let that put you off Really good hotel,Everything was good from the Staff to the room We were welcomed by Roberto and what a star he is,nothing to much for him,and he always seemed to be around on the three days we stayed there. A five minute walk into the town,on the Saturday we were there they had a market as big I had ever seen Plenty of first class restaurants All in all a great stay,and if we ever return to Gubbio we would not stay anywhere else

The hotel is located very close to the historic part of Gubbio, so one can walk everywhere. It is very nicely decorated, the staff is friendly and the rooms are comfortable and very reasonably priced. A really perfect place to enjoy wonderful Gubbio !

Cozy room in the historic center of Gubbio. Excellent check-in with extremely helpful desk clerk. He directed me to the free parking area. Room had a door onto the rooftop terrace. Bed was hard. I recommend this hotel if you get a good price.

Stayed in Gubbio a night and were fortunate to experience this hotel. Central location with a clean room and unending breakfast the next morning. (We took the B&B option). Staff were helpful at check-in in explaining (in English) the best places in this amazing town to visit. Gubbio is a MUST visit for those wanting to explore Umbria, and The San Marco is a great and affordable landing spot from which to operate. Close to a pub and sites not far. The rooms are not large, but they are clean and comfortable; just what we needed as we moved town to town for our first week of travel in Italy.

Luckily I stayed at this property for just one night. They gave me a room with a very small bathroom, the minimum existential dimensions were certainly unknown, the room and bathroom were inaccessible for a person with some disability. Ignoble bed, with loose mattress and bed base. I made a mistake in not immediately asking for a room change and only reporting the inconvenience I had in the morning at reception where the employee present completely ignored the problems exposed. To this we add a truly "minimal" breakfast. Of this structure except the location very close to the center of Gubbio and nothing else. Experience not to be repeated. I hope that the other guests, who also wrote very positive reviews, were provided with a different service.

Abbiamo soggiornato qui due notti per lavoro. Camere spaziose, letto comodo e ottima vista sia sul giardino interno dell' hotel sia su Gubbio. Il bagno è un po' vintage, la vasca potrebbe risultare leggermente scomoda ma tutto sommato va bene. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. La colazione non era inclusa nella prenotazione camera ma il prezzo è onesto se aggiunta la mattina stessa.
