Ibis Mendoza

Next to the Mendoza Highway, the location is good and suitable for self-driving tours

The hotel is in terrible condition, it doesn't look like an ibis. The entrance hall is where it is in the best condition, once you go to the corridors of the rooms you can already see how old and deteriorated the hotel is. First they gave us a room on the ground floor, room 113, a super small room with all the walls in splashes from the 80s, the bathroom in terrible condition, a bathroom in a service station on the route is in better condition. A curtain that does not reach the floor and floods everything and the shower that comes out of the ceiling with the shower hose in the middle that prevents you from bathing comfortably. When we asked to change the room, they moved us to 314, the room was the same, the only thing that changed in the bathroom was that it had a screen, it had a smell of plumbing all the time, the bathroom sink directly had a huge hole through which you could fall anything out there. The experience was so bad that I am going to think 3 times before staying at an ibis again.

Terrible hotel, the worst I have stayed in my entire life. I'm a customer of the Accor Hotel chain and I've always liked it, but this hotel in Mendoza is terrible, the bathroom is in poor condition, the building is old, there were problems with power outages on 2 nights (the only thing the hotel was out of was the surrounding buildings with electricity). The day I arrived early, I asked to check in early (I know this is a liberality of the hotel whether to anticipate or not), they told me they wouldn't do it because they didn't have any rooms available, but when I informed them that I was going to pay they had rooms available, so The problem is not anticipating or not checking in, but lying. One day I woke up in the morning and my shower wasn't running, I informed reception, when I arrived at night the problem persisted and they said there was no other room, but when I went down to reception hours later there were people checking in, the reception employee, He simply said he couldn't do anything, after complaining a lot, a single employee sympathized with us and went to "fix" the shower, we were able to take a shower, but in a precarious way. I sent an email to Accor and so far they have not responded. Simply Terrible. I have photos and videos of this precariousness.

I was disappointed with this hotel.. we have stayed in several hotels in this chain and none were as bad as this one.. air conditioning doesn't work, horrible shower, horrible bed, plumbing problems... it's not worth staying at this hotel.

I'm staying until September 15th and I asked the reception if they offer breakfast for lactose intolerants, and they told me to just have tea and eat fruit, because the service is standard. I looked for the manager or supervisor and a girl next to the receptionist said: there's nothing we can do.
