Location may very well be the only pro of this place. This wasn't planned as a hotel at all, it's a just a series of additions to an old building, loose roofing made strong noises all night, carpets are old, dirty and worn out just as much as the courtains on the rooms. The pillow cover was dirty and with blood stains, I slept dressed and covering the pillow with my jacket. The friend who was with me told me this used to be a nice place to stay but it is no more, in fact I doubt it ever was. Starting with having the worst parking space one can imagine this can add up to one of the worst places in Guatemala city, with this price one can find better places. Will never return, that's for sure .

Communication was consistent. They have a number you can WhatsApp. My first night there, the water was out for the whole island, but they turned on the emergency water so that I can shower. It’s at the entrance of the island, so you won’t have great lake view like the hotels on the west side of the island. Everything on the island is so easily walkable though that it’s not really unnecessary. Also, no hot water, but that’s also unnecessary. Water is cool enough for the hot weather.
