Hotels near Tianhe Gymnasium in Guangzhou

Location : located directly next to tiyuwest rd metro station exit A. There are 3 shopping centres just opposite of the hotel. Surrounded by food eateries. Service : Staff service is good and attentive. Cleanliness : Hotel is clean, although there are moisty smell, my mistake never inform front desk to change for another room. Amenities : included breakfast, supper, laundry and gyms. What more I can ask for? It's good and up to latest hotel trend.

Positive: Location is excellent. Convenient link to public transport. Huge shopping mall nearby. Clean interiors with good design. Rooms cleaned daily. Very comfortable linens. Cool sound system which allows you to play music in the shower and main room. No sound from adjacent rooms. No bad smell or smoking in corridors. Negative: No power from 9:00am to 5:00pm on last day which made it very difficult to pack. Elevator was also out of use so staff had to help drag a heavy suitcase downstairs. No breakfast offered. Sound from car park area was very loud - obviously not the hotels fault but there was a lot of shouting from outside most evenings and early mornings. Wifi cut out on the evening of second night meaning the TV didn’t work - staff told us it was because the Wifi couldn’t be used through the TV even though it had been fine for the past day and a half (and was then again okay the next evening) AND we had no wifi on our phones. Excuses, excuses. Staff immediately asked me for a covid test upon check in when seeing I am a foreigner - they didn’t ask any Chinese nationals (I was traveling with a Chinese National) and it was not stated upon booking that test results were necessary for check in. Finally, after realizing I hadn’t left China since 2019, they said a test result was not necessary. I understand and comply with all measures for prevention the pandemic, but I do not agree with only singling out foreigners. Ask everyone or ask no one.

Excellent service, location, and amenities. Full view of the hotel pool and the lovely city from my room on the 11th floor. Great breakfast buffet with a wide selection of Western and Chinese food. Just a 1-minute walk from Tiyu Xi Lu metro station. Will definitely come back again!

The service is warm, the location is good, transportation is convenient, and the facilities are complete. It is very suitable for families to travel and live. They also upgraded my room type and gave me breakfast.

The staff were very friendly and I enjoyed my stay. The location is great. My bed was very comfortable. The Wifi was good

1) Good location. Walking distance to the metro and tee mall. Surrounded with restaurants and shops. 2) Good breakfast. 3) The only issue is the cleanliness. The room is not clean and furniture looks quite old. Carpet is dusty & dirty. Toilet wall is not cleaned properly. Hotel should look into this seriously. 4) Reception staff that I met is not that friendly.

To avoid the peak period of Chinese New Year, I chose to book Sofitel yesterday, I don’t like too many people. I made the right decision I think . Generally the check in speed is fast, my room was allocated on high floor with the tower view. The room is comfortable and the service there is good. Will be back soon

Excellent location with metro station right in front, easy access to most tourist attractions and with great drinks and food in the building and around the building; as well as great shopping a stone throw away. The bed is super large and comfy. All modern amenities are available for great stay. Thank you.

Electronic device inside the room was user friendly. The bed was big and very comfortable. There was wine available at the lobby, haha.
