First of all, I would like to praise all the service staff, especially the duty manager Peter, who communicated with me about the housing needs before my mother and I checked in, fully understood the core needs of the residents, and made arrangements that moved the customers. It was very considerate. The hotel has a great location and the decoration is elegant and dignified. We are traveling. The station in front of the hotel is connected in all directions. We can reach many famous attractions without even needing a subway. The room is designed according to the specifications of a hotel apartment, and is equipped with a washing machine, microwave oven, dishwasher, kettle, and coffee machine. I live in a suite, and the washing machine has a drying function. In Guangzhou, which is hot and hot, it is very convenient for me, who has to wash and dry clothes every day. The hairdryer is from Dyson, and the room is thoughtfully equipped with electric mosquito coils and a steam ironing machine. You can feel that the staff want to make guests feel at home. There are plenty of USB charging sockets in the room, which is convenient and user-friendly. There is PILLOW MENU where you can choose the pillow that suits you. The housekeeping staff even found out that I drink coffee every day, so they put some extra coffee capsules in the bag so that I could drink it with peace of mind😀 Although the hotel's catering is not yet complete, the scenery is almost non-existent, and the young service staff's response is a bit ****y. But you can feel the attitude of the other party trying to provide good service. In addition, the old central location just across the road from Beiyuan Restaurant can definitely be a reason to stay here again next time.

Fabulous historic hotel in the center of the beautiful YueXiu district. Rooms are huge, staff is efficient, speaks English, and very polite. Rooms have high ceilings, huge windows and very well decorated in a classic but super comfortable classical China style. Yuexiu Park metro station is 5 min walk, and next door is a Starbucks and McDonalds. Across the street is a new mall with lots of Chinese restaurants. It’s also about a 10 minute walk from Guangzhou’s famous clothing wholesale markets. Hotel lobby is huge and totally fabulous! Staying here makes you feel like you are living a life of luxury, but still at a reasonable price. One thing I would tell the staff to improve : showers need to be scrubbed better because any mold in the shower is unacceptable, even a little. This is a common problem in China, different standards than western cultures I guess. Otherwise, this is the place to stay. Standard Rooms here are a lot larger than at the China Hotel next door, and usually rooms rates for both properties are similar. Why not stay at Dong Fang and get a nicer room for the same price ?

Great hotel, really good quality price ratio. Very conveniently located close to Yuexiu Park and the metro station for Line 2. Close to Guangzhou Train Station South. Great buffet breakfast at the Veranda Cafe. And if you're in the mood for fast food there is a Burger King, Starbucks and a Domino's in the same block. I will book this hotel again if I'm back on GZ.

Great value for money, super clean, comforable bed, beautiful river view from hotel room. Need to specific mention this hotel have very amazing, friendly and helpful staffs. (We left a wifi egg with charger behind and they gave it to us immediately when we check out!!) Walking distance to eateries and river cruise at the pier. Stay for 2 nights in this hotel, just a bit disappointed coz can't go to the rooftop bar due to events on both nights. Also need to mention elderly need to be very careful when using the shower room of the hotel coz their floor are made of marble. It can be a bit slippery. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel and will come back next time. We had a wonderful time here, thank you very much.

Got an upgrade in parent/child room on 35th floor It looked fully renovated, fresh scent and carpet smell. My room was very big and clean and looked like I was the first one to use it. It had that fresh smell They could change the breakfast times to times and add more options for halal/muslims customers. Overall they have a lot of options in breakfast too Cleaning was spot on and location is very near to all restaurants and shops. Multiple Canton Fair shuttle a day to pick you up and drop you back to hotel Swimming and gym was also very nice I would use it again for sure but only if it’s 35th floor and above

1. The boss has a very good service attitude and the service is also great 2. The decoration of the front desk and the room are very artistic. The decoration design of each room is different. The room we stayed in is very cost-effective. The room is very bright, fresh and comfortable, clean and hygienic, and it has two oversized rooms. Mirror, I feel very good as soon as I enter the room. 3. The breakfast is beautiful and delicious. We can help deliver it to the room, but it only starts at 9 o'clock. 4. The location is good, surrounded by famous attractions such as Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, Beijing Road, Sacred Heart Cathedral, Shamian Island, and not far from the shore of the Pearl River. Finally, there is one thing that needs attention. You need to check in after 3 pm and check out at 12 pm. However, we went early and the teacher also helped us pack up in advance and let us check in around 1:30.

I went to Guangzhou on business and chose this hotel because of the good reviews. The hotel is near the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall and has its own small parking lot, which costs 40 yuan/24 hours. The room I stayed in was not big, but the hygiene was good. The room lighting and bed curtains were all one-button electronically controlled. The bed is very comfortable, a thumbs up. The front desk service attitude is very good, warm and polite. I will stay here again next time I come. After exiting the hotel, turn right and then turn right again. There is a Xidianhui Tea Restaurant about 200 meters away. The morning tea is very good. Locals dine there. Those who want to experience the local morning tea culture can go there.

Upon arrival at the hotel after the check in time of 2:00pm, we were told that the rooms were not yet cleaned but we were given keys to the rooms. We would expect to get into cleaned rooms without any hassle for a hotel of this standing. It was quite horrifying to go into a room that is not cleaned. One of the rooms had a heavy cigarette smell and that needs to be changed. We have reserved 3 rooms but each room is a a different floor and our key card cannot access to other floors due to security reasons. The room is ok but there is a stain on the chair and some cigarette smell. The bed is also quite firm which may not suit everyone. The hotel should consider enforcing a check out time that would enable them to turn around the rooms in a timely manner.

I got a classic room on 29th floor but the whole floor and room had a strong stink of smoke and mould . I complained about it to front desk and told how sensitive i am towards smoke and they were very kind to upgrade my room on 27th floor. Which was cleaner and bigger and it made my two night stay wonderful. So big thank-you to the lady behind the front desk. The whole staff was welcoming and helpful . They also helped me with food delivery putting address on my app and talking to kuaidi guys. Besides hotel is located in w wonderful area lots of touristic spots , great restaurants and shops/ malls on walking distance. I’ll definitely stay here again and will make sure to have bigger room. Breakfast was fairly decent for the prices. The on spot fried jaozi were my fav though.

After comparing many B&Bs, many near subway stations were more expensive than this one, and this one was at a transfer station, so I chose it. It's inside an apartment building, for both commercial and residential use. The view from the room on the upper floor is better, and there is a small garden on the roof that looks good. There are basically everything that should be in the room, including a refrigerator. It's quite comfortable and the decoration is okay. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the service. I will consider staying here again next time.

Location: On the Gongyuanqian subway station, convenient for changing to various routes Room: The reception hall was being renovated when I went there. I upgraded the room for free with a balcony. However, because the whole building was relatively old, the musty smell was very strong. It was even worse at night because I was staying for a few days. I wanted it. After changing to a hotel, Jushu changed to a one-bedroom and one-living room in the back. The equipment was still old, the balcony was piled with old furniture, and there was also a very small drum washing machine. Because of the Canton Fair, all the hotels and B&Bs in Guangzhou were full. There was no other place to choose from for the time being. I was too lazy to move later so I didn’t change.

The hotel is located right at the city center. Withing a one min walk, you can hop on subway line 1 or line2 to access the East and South train stations. The Beijing Road walking street (no other traffic) is about 5 min walking distance where you can find all major stores, shops and major department stores. The rooms are clean and relatively spacious, bathrooms layout is not as efficient (space wasted). Operators are trying to attract more oversee travelers, but they need to make it easier for them to stay. One thing they could do is to eliminate the local phone number verification requirement to connect to their WIFI, many oversee travelers do not have a local phone number to go through the process. Another improvement might be that connecting all power cords for WIFI to an extension board so that they will not occupy all the plugs by the desk (there are three plugs used just for the WIFI). For the location and price, I would still recommend this hotel if you can get around with the WIFI verification process or simply do not use the WIFI. You might be able to ask the front desk to help you with the verification process, they will be happy to help. They made many exceptions for me since I am an oversee traveler who had encountered many obstacles. You could save a lot of taxi money by staying in this hotel since you can literally get to any where in the city with the subway system. Especially during the summer time when the weather is so hot and humid that calling a taxi can be a challenge.

It is very convenient to travel next to the subway entrance, close to Beijing Road, it is an old residential area, the landlord sister is warm and thoughtful, and the suitcase is specially picked up at the subway entrance and moved to the 3rd floor. The room layout is a bit small in American style. There is a small terrace, it is convenient to wash and dry clothes. Worth staying
