The room was comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The check-in experience was very good. The only drawback is that takeout cannot be delivered to the room, and you need to go downstairs and pick it up from the cabinet yourself. The nearby subway station is called Xianggang, and the name of the Line 6 subway station has several uncommon characters😓

The hotel is discriminatory. They charge foreigners down payment of 1000 yuan while the Chinese are exempted. Besides the discriminatory practices, the rooms are neat and warm.

I wish I had known that room service would be closed before booking this hotel because I would have booked somewhere else considering how out of the way and difficult it was to find decent Western food in this area. I was feeling a little off my first day here due to having gotten a Pfizer Vaccination in Bangkok the day before, and I didn't want to leave my hotel room however when I tried to call room service no one answered, when I called the front desk they told me there would be no room service until Monday. Otherwise, the hotel was great, I think they might have given me an upgrade because my room had a surprise balcony (which I definitely made use of). The pool and gym were decent and the staff at the pool were excellent and even loaned me a swim cap because I hadn't brought my own. The hotel was very nice and clean, as can be expected at a Holiday Inn, and the breakfast was varied and delicious offering several foreign breakfast options.
