SSvVBI enjoyed staying in this hotel for several reasons: firstly, the rooms are kept super clean, kudos to the housekeeping team who are absolutely top of the bill and give you a feeling you are a VIP. This is one of the few hotels that sanitise the tv-remotes! Impressed!
Secondly, the staff at the reception, technical maintanance and breakfast are very polite and willing to help. They won't give up till they solve the problem you have, no matter how much of their time and effort it will take.
Facilities in the room work well. HK television is on channel 20. A/C, the shower, tea kettle all work as they should.
Tea making facilities in the room impressed me because the tea sorts (green and black) they chose are an absolute delight, no cheap paper sachets sort of nonsense. Real tea, as it should be.
They have a good eye for the comfort of the guest and pay attention to such small details as a shoehorn in the room, which I do not see often, but having it makes my life in the morning so much easier.
The location is close to some temples and historic monuments, the King's Tomb museum is just a 12-15 min walk door to door. Two different gardens, both beautifully landscaped and maintained. Two subway/metro stations for different lines to get anywhere in no time. Two supermarkets at 12-15 min walk, and a great fruit stall in the same street. Not to mention all the little restaurants, one - next door.
Breakfast is Chinese, and delicious. Every day there are stable items, like breads, steamed buns, and dimsum, porridge, veggies, meat, milk and soy milk, some veggie nuggets, mixed salad, and fresh fruit. For me a cornucopia of breakfast foods.
So, if you ask me, this is a very pleasant place to stay at. I wholeheartedly recommend.
