We chose this hotel because of its location which is half an hour away by taxi from the Guangzhou Baiyun airport and is near to the local Metro so that we could see Guangzhou before we return home to England. We booked and paid for two executive double rooms at the 15th or 16th floors. However, Vienna International Hotel could not allocate any executive rooms for us and put us in two lower grade rooms which were dirty and very smelly (of cigarette) at lower floor. The hotel only allocated two executive rooms (which are what we have booked and paid for via Trip.com) for us after we complaint the following day! There were no apologies! Not a pleasant stay at all.
We gave "Cleanliness" 3 points because the two rooms for the first night were dirty and smelly but the executive rooms for our second night were clean.

This hotel is location is very ideal (Literally outside the subway station). Room was of a good size although it needs an upgrade. Reception Staff was very unprofessional upon check in. We were asked to give them a picture of our suitcase which we never come across before at any hotel in the world. They also wanted a picture of our air ticket which was unnecessary. Would avoid staying at this hotel in future
