Location is definitely top notch as this hotel is in the central part of Guangzhou. However, the hotel isn’t the best if you are looking for a nice hotel for your stay. Staff are nice and helpful but the room conditions aren’t the best. Parts of the wall look stained, doors look half broken and overall room looked old. Enough amenities are provided, toilet is clean but other than that, wouldnt really say its a hotel.

This is one of the worst places for your money. Yes, the location is close to the Canton tower, you can take a walk. But room is terrible

It is my second time staying here, I was here in January. Everytime I come to Guangzhou there is no better hotel for me. The hotel is beautiful, clean, affordable and it is at a very convenient location. The staff is super friendly and they allowed me to check out late. If you are coming to GZ, this is the best hotel!

The service was good but the room is a bit too pricey for what it offers. Convenient location but could have been cleaner.

First of all, the location is good and the check-in was smooth. They even allowed us to check-out late. The price was also affordable. However, our rooms were pretty run-down. There was mold in one of our rooms, the other room smelled of cigarettes although we requested non-smoking rooms. The worst was the mattress which was hard like a stone. If there hadn’t been mold and better mattresses, we would have enjoyed the stay.

Strange hotel but location was good

The location is very good and we had no overall problems with the room give or take a cockroach and a harder than average bed. After travelling a couple of weeks having the washing machine was a bonus. Our only problem was with the rooms having no sound proofing at all from the main corridor. Other guests were being loud throughout the night, going out into the hallway to talk on their phone or going between rooms and slamming doors kept me and my wife awake most of the time. The other issue was with smoking. Our room didn’t smell of cigarettes at first but as other guests would smoke in their rooms or the hallways our room would fill up with smoke in no time and it was as if they were actually smoking in our room which made us feel sick. it would be better if the floors can be separated into smoking and non smoking and even quiet and loud if people like to spend more time in the corridor than their room. Overall if you get more lucky with other guests than we had I would recommend, or if you are a heavy sleeper and don’t mind cigarette smoke this is an ideal cheaper place to stay in Guangzhou downtown.
