Unforgettable experience at ATOUR HOTEL Tianhe – service that goes far beyond expectations!
My stay at ATOUR HOTEL Tianhe was truly memorable, thanks in large part to the exceptional service from the staff – especially the receptionist Shi Xing.
I had already been traveling through China for a few days and, without realizing the scale of the national holiday on May 1st, I ended up booking a train ticket to Guangzhou for that exact day. What I didn’t know was that the entire country comes to a halt during this holiday.
My train arrived at midnight, in the middle of heavy rain, and the station was absolutely packed – hundreds of people trying to leave, and no taxis in sight. It was late, I was exhausted, and things were starting to feel hopeless.
That’s when I asked some local contacts to call the hotel for help. And that’s when I met Shi Xing, who completely changed my night.
As soon as she learned I was stranded at the bus terminal, Shi Xing didn’t hesitate for a second. She left the hotel personally – in the middle of the night, in the rain, during a national holiday – and came to find me with an umbrella in hand. Within 15 minutes, she reached me in the middle of the crowd, greeted me with kindness, and got me safely into a taxi so we could return to the hotel together.
It’s something I’ll never forget. In a foreign country, far from home, I was literally rescued by this incredible woman. Her compassion, professionalism, and genuine care went far beyond any expectation. I’ll be forever grateful to her.
The hotel itself is excellent – clean, comfortable, well located, and with great amenities. But what truly sets ATOUR HOTEL apart is the human quality of its service.
I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, and I want to express my deep gratitude to Shi Xing and the entire team. You didn’t just welcome a guest – you became part of a story I’ll carry with me for life.
