The room was clean, well-equipped, and quiet, making for a comfortable sleep. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, and the robot food delivery service was very convenient. The GIN staff were friendly and polite. Liuhua Lake Park is nearby, perfect for an after-dinner stroll, and the subway is not far away.

I originally booked a five-night stay in Guangzhou, intending to spend a week there. After one day, I felt the heat was too much, so I contacted customer service to cancel two nights. The hotel agreed, which was a nice touch.
The front desk guy was very nice and helped me move my luggage when I couldn't. He also helped me collect a lot of packages.
The bed was large, the room was spacious, but the mattress was a bit firm (good news for those who like firm beds).
A few issues: 1. The hotel is located in a residential complex, so taxis don't stop right outside, which can be a hassle with large luggage. 2. The toilet in the room sprayed water outside before use and when flushing, forcing me to use the restroom with my legs crossed (I reported this to the front desk, and they said they'd contacted an electrician to fix it, but it still hadn't been fixed by the time I checked out). 3. The soundproofing between rooms was good, but the door and hallway weren't. One morning, I was woken by two foreigners next door tearing off tape...

The hotel is located in a residential complex across from the north gate of Liuhua Lake Park. There's a bus stop right on the road and a bit of a walk from the subway station. Turn left out of the complex and it's busier. You can easily scan a shared bike or take a taxi to Xihua Road, where there's plenty of food! The hotel is nice, the rooms are quite large, and although they're not fully equipped, everything is very new. However, the air conditioner was loud and had a strong odor the first time I used it. By 12:00 PM, I couldn't stand it anymore and reported it to the front desk, who moved us. The problem was resolved quickly and efficiently, which is a plus! I recommend airing the room more when it's unoccupied! Liuhua is a bit out of the way, otherwise the price would definitely be higher.

The design has a Lingnan feel, with the floral tiles and white walls creating a striking contrast. A quiet hotel amidst the bustle of the city. It happened to rain all day in Guangzhou during my stay, so the hotel arranged a king-size room with a small garden. Listening to the sound of the rain from the courtyard made working late less stressful.
The breakfast, while simple, was adequate. The lady even offered me a small cookie when she saw me making a cup of coffee. I loved it! 😘
