Di Feng Hotel (Xilangkengkou Subway Station Branch)

Stay here for 5 nights. My review for your reference Pro: 1. For hotel, the bed is comfortable & shower water pressure is strong. Room size is ok and deco is decent. 2. For location, It is 1.5km away from Xilang Market & Xilang Metro station a 5 mins didi ride 3. Xilang Metro Line 1 is connected to metro GuongFu Line which bring you to Foshan & Panyu Station. You can go Shunde as well from one of the Foshan Metro station 4. It is near to Guangzhou South Railway station. A plus if you travelling to other city such as Shantou. 20mins didi ride 5. For food, there is a famous claypot (zhe zhe pot) opposite the hotel which is insanely good as per pic. You can also find some street vendor and small shop beside a dimly lit lane beside the hotel. It is a hidden treasure. Cons: 1. Hotel staff attitude is lacklustre and hardly see them around the reception during my whole stay. I arrived around 4am was given passcode to the room but there is no hotel card in the room hence there is no electricity and it was so hot. Complain to them via WeChat and got no response till almost 6am. 2. Cleaner attitude is also average, need to keep reminding to replenish toiletries and mineral water. Room and toilet is not clean thoroughly daily basis. 3. I got a room facing Main street, Hotel sound insulation is average. You will be waking up from loud taxi horn and if you lucky can hear some action movie from couple staying next door . Not for the light sleeper. This hotel is not a reputable chain hence it is not very professionally manage. However, it is still acceptable and decent. If you are fussy traveller, this is not for you.
