About 750m away from #6 Bus station, Shawan Ancient Town at South Entrance. Bed/mattress and pillows is really comfortable(equivalent to 5* hotel). Modern WC with electric bidet and warm seat cover. Cosy environment. Excellent place to stay to relax and enjoy the renovation. Good breakfast and afternoon tea.

Excellent as always. Service is lovely and the ability to ask questions on WeChat is so helpful too, especially if you don’t know any Mandarin like me. I’ll be sure to return as often as I can. Even though it’s quite far from the things I come to Guangzhou for, I believe the journey is worth the peaceful stay I always experience here.

This B&B has a great environment and is one of the best B&Bs I've ever stayed in. The owner is a designer and designed the style himself. Every spot is photogenic. The desserts, breakfast, and meals are all delicious and beautiful! You can also take photos in the room, with warm lighting and a rooftop on the fourth floor! The B&B is right in the ancient town, very convenient

I absolutely love this place! It's clean and stylish, with a courtyard, light design, and the view from the windows—it's absolutely stunning! The front door is the cafe, there's an elevator upstairs to the accommodation, and the restaurant is at the back of the first floor. The view is incredible! The room was well-equipped, with coffee and tea, and incense sticks to order. The atmosphere was perfect for relaxing. The complimentary breakfast was hearty, and the afternoon tea was exquisite. The hostess and staff were incredibly nice! I absolutely have to return!

I was thinking of a weekend getaway with my girlfriend at a B&B and stumbled upon Chang Xi. Wow, it exceeded my expectations!

Let's talk about the accommodation first. You can tell a lot of effort went into the decor of this B&B. Every detail has its own aesthetic, and the overall style is sophisticated and retro. The leather and fabric chairs and sofas are so comfortable! The room was also very clean, with tea sets and incense burners, which really added a touch of ceremony. There was also a refrigerator and a smart toilet. And! The tatami room was so spacious! You could move around any way you wanted, hahahaha.
The desserts and drinks were also pretty good, and the prices were reasonable. Having a cafe right downstairs was really convenient, especially for a working person like me who can't stop drinking coffee every day! The desserts were also good, both in appearance and taste. I highly recommend the Matcha Yam Peony. It's not too sweet, and it's really good!
The restaurant is also downstairs, with a clean and comfortable atmosphere and reasonable prices. The food was delicious, and there's a 10% discount on hotel stays. The steamed chicken with kohlrabi was delicious and very tender.
Overall, this was a very good experience! The overall experience was better than many thousand-dollar hotels! Highly recommended!
