I chose this hotel for the proximity to both Guangzhou North Railway and various temples I wanted to visit. The front desk was very accomodating and helpful. The downside was no refrigerator in room, which I am used to when I travel; they did allow me to keep my insulin in the front desk fridge, but that was inconvenient. Housekeeping is amazing! They helped me to order food, the complimentary bottle of wine was nice, and I kept my luggage in the lobby while I visited the Huayan temple on my last day.The neighborhood was a bit unkempt, but perhaps that was due to the CNY celebrations. Overall, a 9/10!
