At the recommendation of some friends, I decided to stop for a walk to the Japanese tank on the property and lunch at one of the restaurants. I was stopped at 2 security checkpoints on my way to the main resort building and had a positive experience with the guards at those locations. I was instructed by security to check in at the front desk before proceeding to the tank. I then proceeded to the front desk and things quickly went downhill. On my way into the resort, a 3rd security guard was present and was yelling and whistling obnoxiously at other hotel patrons who were apparently not using the sidewalk. Why they have so many security guards all over the property, I can’t figure out. I get to the front desk and the woman working had no idea what tank I was talking about and went to speak with her manager. When she returned, I was told to leave the property immediately or I would be removed by security. No reason was given nor was there a mention of my request to walk to the tank. I tried to reason with the staff and was told to go to the Tour Lounge to see about options for going to the tank. The woman working the desk for the tours didn’t speak good English, so I believe she was telling me I had to pay $200 to go on a Jeep tour to the tank, that there were no trips for that day, and she was unable to tell me when the next tour opportunity would be. With the threat of removal from the property for no reason and inability to communicate with the tour desk staff, I decided it best to not give LeoPalace any business and I promptly departed without seeing the tank or eating lunch. Very poor customer service and way too many security guards. Felt like a jail.

The club lounge could only be used for breakfast. Also, during the cocktail hour, there were no cocktails at all even though the advertisement said cocktails. The breakfast taste was average, but there were quite a few insects in the vegetables, fruits, and bread. The room and pool were good However, I was woken up several times during the night by the cleaning staff slamming the door of the room next door. The building itself is old, so it's quite noisy. Also, on one day, the Chinese people downstairs were having a party until around 24:00, and it was so noisy that I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable. I warned her, but she wouldn't stop making noise. I booked this hotel thinking it would be a quiet hotel, so I was disappointed.

It must be said that the location of the hotel is facing the street, and it is really noisy at night. After the first night, I had to change rooms. The more important thing is that each room has an electric box. The night was buzzing and noisy, and I had booked four nights at this hotel. After two nights, I was forced to change the hotel. Hotel front desk and health services are ok, especially the front desk service is very good, but it is too noisy, if you live temporarily, it is ok, if you come to the exam, really do not recommend

I stayed at the hotel for 7 days. First of all, the hotel was old, so there was little objection to the facility. There's an ice machine at the hotel. I've never seen bugs. The water pressure is weak, so it's okay to wash. No slippers. The water was only given when I checked in.

I usually read reviews before booking a vacation hotel especially if it's an extended stay. However, since this is not my first time visit in Guam and well, it really is just a vacation in Guam (We are from Saipan), I didn't think much of it. As our vacation was nearing though, I decided to check on this hotel in TripAdvisor. Oh boy. After I read ”you get what you paid for” in one of the reviews, I got a bit worried. I wanted to cancel my reservation. My wife, however insisted to stay with this hotel. I am glad I listened to my wife :) Our stay here was not bad at all, as most review here. I am happy to recommend this place. It's not perfect but it serves our purpose comfortably. The room we had - 4207 was huge for 3 people. We had a patio view of the garden and poolside which was nice. There's 2 full size beds, an open space for living room, a dining table for 4 (or more), full size kitchen area, and two full size bathroom with entry sinks and closets. The overall suite was clean. No frills. The kitchen area have everything you need, pots, pans, plates, utensils, microwave, stovetop and fridge. The room service was also to our liking. They come daily with fresh towels and linens. The bathroom was clean, has removable shower heads with strong water pressure. They don't have toiletries for you so you have to buy or bring your own. Which was not an issue to us. For safety, the building have an entry door lock which can only be opened by our room card keys. There's also securities on foot and by car roaming around the facility. Our bed was comfortable but my son's bed was a little tilted on one side which didn't bother him much (maybe because he is lighter than me :/). I would have complained if it was the only bed. The location of this hotel is also convenient for us. If you want to walk, there's eateries and Circle K within a couple of blocks. By car, everything seems approx 5-10mins drive. K-Mart is only approx 3-5mins drive. Some issues: Our key cards didn't seem to work properly. We had to have it change and re-access 3x. One card would work while the other card won't or vice versa. A hassle to have it changed because we are three building over the main building where the reception desk is located. The ladies at the front desk on our first day was not friendly at all. No smiles to greet us. No welcoming feeling or aura. They actually look moody or a little angry. They also told us that they charge full day rate for an early check-in but we informed them that we spoke to Jason the day before and he said it's half a day rate. In the end, they gave us the half a rate begrudgingly. They didn't even give us a proper instructions on where to find the elevator or our building. We had to ask. After that initial bad impression, I got really quiet and worried walking to our building. There's that ”o-oh” feeling. Then we saw the old elevator with a light smell of trash(?). Another ”o oh”. But as soon a

The couple stayed in the holiday suite for 2 nights from the beginning of the year. I knew the hotel was aging, but the room was large, but the lights in the room were only a stand 2 and it was dark. I entered the hotel after check-in was 3 o'clock, but I was waiting for it to end because I had not finished cleaning yet. The next day, no matter how many times I came back from the outside, the room cleaning did not come, and I came after 7 o'clock in the evening, and I refused because I had already relaxed after dinner. I have stayed in various countries and hotels so far, but it was the first time that it was so late. The location of the hotel is good but a little disappointing.

AWESOME NEWLY RENOVATED BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN TUMON! Stayed at Hotel Tano for about a month, and the hotel was the perfect property for us while on remote work/vacation on Guam visiting family and friends over our kids summer break. The hotel had just completed their renovation and conversion to a newly renovated boutique hotel. We loved the modern design and concept of the property and of the Premier Suite we had stayed in. We also loved the view of Tumon Bay and It’s sunset from our suite. The property is also centrally located on Tumon, where we made the daily walk to Fujita beach which was about a 5 minute walk and the main Tumon shopping ***** which was about a 10 minute walk. Staff were superb, as others mentioned on here. They welcomed us with the Hafa Adai spirit, they were attentive to our family’s needs during our stay, and at times a couple steps ahead in insuring we had a great stay. They sure made us feel like family. These individuals includes (Brandon, Robinson, Sam, Rey, Oz, Misty, Josh, Jay, Mark, Sheryl, and Jamie) A couple specific individuals that made our stay extra special, were Oz and Misty. Oz Lobby Host, consistently greeted us as we departed the hotel to kick-off our day and welcomed us back in the evening as we returned back to the hotel from our fun filled day. Oz would also check in on us to insure we were having a great stay. Misty our room attendant, was consistent in servicing our room, and would consistently check in to see if we needed any additional room amenities during our stay. It was refreshing to come back from our day to a clean room. My kids also loved the care that Misty had put towards their stuff animals. Overall an AWESOME stay, and we are looking forward to staying again and will be recommending Hotel Tano to our stateside friends & family who are in search for a hotel on Guam.

Excellent location to relax and enjoy the ocean view from where we stayed. Since our vacation was during the Holy Week, the ocean breeze and the waves played ambient sounds for my early morning prayers from the hotels balcony. The whole day was spent strolling around the commercial places which was a stones throw away from the hotel. Nice place to window shop and to buy some stuff for souvenirs. Though I didn’t have much time to go swimming because of the unpredictable rain, I had spent my afternoons waiting for the twilight as the sky dusked and captured the panoramic sunset images in my brain. As for the food, I haven’t tried the hotels restaurant the whole time. It was more fun to explore a good deal of restaurants and diners nearby. Stayed 4 nights at Hyatt and the place is recommendable. Ideal place for family vacation if your goal is to relax, unwind and bond with family and friends.

-Check-in: Arrived at 3:30pm, Staff was nice but I think her shift was over and she was ready to leave because halfway she left me complete the check-in process with another agent without saying a word. Had to wait maybe 15-20 mins for our room to be ready. -Room: My family and I stayed for 2 nights at the Bayview. Rooms were nice but after a while my nose felt stuffy, then I saw how dusty the room was. I had to open the balcony door to let some air in because of the dust. On the 3rd floor, it's hard to get a good view because the concrete is so high, a short person like me had to tippy-toe to see over. Also, the balcony was kinda dirty from the grime on the tiles, it was really slippery so I told my daughter not to come out. The good thing was it was close to the pool and lounge. -Food: there really wasn't much places in the hotel to get food. We had club lounge access but breakfast was mainly just like ”continental style”. Didn't really mind it, as long as we ate. Cocktail time was confusing for us, we had to walk outside for our drinks, go inside to eat. So you'd have to choose to bring your food outside, or drinks inside. There were no drinks served inside so it was difficult especially when the weather was bad and I had my kid. Also, I was told different times for cocktail by front desk and the bar. They stopped serving drinks at 8pm, which is the time most people end dinner... Usually people drink cocktails after dinner so I was confused why they'd end at such an early time. Also there were only like 2-3 choices of food during cocktail time. So it was either, eat a REALLY early dinner so I can enjoy time with my other half for cocktail, or late dinner. I dont know it was very confusing. -Service: The service was okay at best. I asked for plates to eat takeout (they didn't have plates or cutlery to give, even from the lounge. It's like they didn't even try to find a way to help) So we had to walk back to the restaurant to ask. Then I saw housekeeping and kindly asked for extra towels, they just gave me a blank look and had me follow her to the storage room to get towels. I totally understand how it's not like a 5 star hotel, but i'd think a hotel that's closely tied to Dusit would get the same customer service / hospitality training. Like smiling at the guests or trying to help us solve small problems, or even communicating with other departments about times / schedules. Overrall, we enjoyed ourselves at the pool and room.

Outstanding
RRoubaobaoaIt is considered a hotel with a good sea view on the first line of Guam. The two Duxi Tianli are next to each other. I almost went to the wrong one when checking in (one is called resort and the other is not). Be careful when booking. The hotel facilities are not that new. The older Japanese women who clean the rooms are relatively clean and polite. The view from the balcony is very good. The sunset is beautiful and you can also see the Crystal Church from a distance. The hotel has two swimming pools, one is an infinity sea view pool, a large connected and circulating swimming pool, and a hot spring pool. There is a paddling pool for children to play on the slide. The hotel is in a very good location. DFS is across the road, which is convenient for shopping. There is also a shopping mall next to it without crossing the road. There is ABCstore for dining. It is walking distance from the popular restaurants on the island. The Thai restaurant in the hotel is also quite authentic. PS: There are a lot of Koreans in the hotel. It is almost difficult to meet Chinese people. Koreans love to take hot springs. A lot of people are very tight in sun protection and squeezed in the small pool to get warm (maybe it has something to do with the fact that there are no direct flights from China now. There are a lot of Korean and Japanese restaurants on the island)

GGuest UserMy childhood memories are filled with fond recollections of the days when this hotel was known as Daichi, and the Seahorse was its neighbor. It's heartwarming to witness the tremendous growth in the form of the Crowne Plaza, now in its third iteration. Despite the substantial exodus of people from Guam and the challenges faced by the hospitality industry, my experience at the Crowne Plaza was nothing short of spectacular — even amidst the aftermath of the most devastating natural disaster to hit the island in over 20 years. During my visit, the hotel experienced sell out occupancy for several days before and after my stay. To complicate matters, some rooms were rendered unavailable due to storm damage. Yet, to my amazement, both of my rooms were seamlessly upgraded without request, including one room to a one-bedroom suite. This exceptional resource management and commitment to their loyalty program and customers leaves me truly impressed. The hotel honored all Diamond Elite benefits, and with the Club lounge temporarily closed due to the storm, we were accommodated with equivalent offerings in the Lobby lounge. The Crowne Plaza's complete makeover, featuring a contemporary design, elevates it to the status of a brand-new hotel rather than a simple update with - and this distinction is important - new yet outdated hardware. For example, their innovative digital elevator is a fresh concept on Guam, separating them from their local competition. I want to extend my sincerest appreciation to Abegail. Her exceptional service and assistance with check-in and resolution of an issue with our room rate demonstrated her expertise. I booked the best flexible rate and even that somehow doubled. Abegail took charge and resolved the matter. Her proactive approach and willingness to be our point of contact for any requests or concerns displayed remarkable initiative whilst juggling her duties at the counter. My gratitude extends to Abegail, the housekeeping, facilities, F&B, and the entire team for the outstanding care they provided during such challenging circumstances. A special thank you goes out to Tan Holdings and IHG for their continued investment in and commitment to the Crowne Plaza to ensure not just a future, but a brighter future, for Guam's hospitality industry.

DD3743DAlaurenbWhile there are a few positives with this hotel, I do think there are many negatives (below) that need to be addressed. We ended up checking out early and moving to a different hotel that met more of our expectations. Positives -Location -Fun slide, pools are nice (plus baby pool) and kids water park (although very cold) -Free life jacket and baby float rentals -Friendly staff, welcome drink -The ohana grill had really good food and service! Negatives -Rooms are extremely dated and need major renovations. Bathroom had mold, cracks, very run down. It felt gross and unclean. The room quality didn’t remotely match what you’d expect for the price/night. We upgraded to an ocean view and there was no usable patio or chair. -There is a nice outdoor deck that’s smoking and in order to get to the pool and beach, you have to walk through it, so there ends up being a lot of unpleasant smoke inhalation. It seemed like they were catering more to smokers and we were never able to get away from it if we wanted to sit on the deck. Other hotels have a very separate smoking deck so guests do not need to walk in it if they don’t want to. -Music was way too loud in pool area, lobby and restaurants. -Breakfast buffet was below average. While the selection was good, quality was poor. -Beach chairs require a fee, other hotels don’t charge for use of beach chairs.

GGuest UserClean rooms, friendly staff, good location, and great access to the beach and infinity pool. The food in their restaurants are pretty good. They have a shop that sells some souvenirs, beach/swimming essentials, some snacks and beverages, etc. which is convenient. If you want to work out they have a small gym on the lobby floor. They also have a good amount of washing machines and dryers for use. Each floor is provided as well with an ice machine and microwave near the elevators. However, I did have some minor issues with my room specifically. Sometimes the lights would flicker and there were problems with the water dispenser. I could also hear the chair and furniture of the room above me moving a lot which was bothersome especially at night and early in the morning. These weren't present during my previous stays here, so maybe it was just bad timing on my end. But I think more thorough room maintenance checks would be helpful just to make sure everything is in order. Overall, I think the pros still heavily outweigh the cons. I always enjoy my stay in Guam Reef and will gladly come back! Their service and amenities are great and the location is perfect since it's walking distance from multiple shopping centres, convenience stores, and restaurants. This is still my go-to hotel in Guam and have recommended it to multiple friends.

GGuest UserHave stayed here many times for work. I just wanted to thank everyone at Hilton for taking such good care of us the past few weeks! I was here for work, and it was a bit unnerving being away from home and family during Typhoon Mawar… but I appreciate the hotel’s constant updates and adaptability! Everyone was working so hard to keep us safe during this very tough time, and it’s truly appreciated! Glad we came thru it okay, prayers for the recovery ahead, grateful to Hilton and all your staff. Thank you.

GGuest UserThe breakfast at the hotel was a well-stocked buffet-style meal. They did make custom omelets. The breakfast included a wide range of meats each morning. There were breads, cereals, and pastries. Coffee, teas, and juices were included. The rooms are large and are well-appointed. The bed, pillows, and linens were outstanding. My room had a nice view of the pool and ocean. The internet worked well. The hotel is well located near the beach, dining, and shopping district. Other nightlife activities are in close walking distance. There was a large self-serve washer & dryer on-site.

Cchdo2016After being „stranded“ in Guam because our connection flights have gotten cancelled over and over again, we decided to trade the uncomfortable chairs at the aiport for a real bed. Since there is no good wifi at the airport we decided to go the touristinformation to book a hotel. After 30 hours without sleep we just didn‘t feel like looking for a free wifi spot just to look up some hotels for one night. We told the employee at the information, that we don‘t care what the rate is. We just want a comfortable clean room with wifi and the hotel shouldn‘t be that far away from the airport. After he made some calls he said that a lot of hotels are full and dont have a room available. I suggested that it might be better if we check online by ourself and wanted to turn away from him as he said he can ask at Harmon Loop hotel. It is a little more expensive with 75$ a night but it is a nice hotel and they offer airportshuttle for 5$ per person for one way. We accepted and went outside to wait for the driver. We were picked up by the manager (I think) who demanded the transportation fee of 10$ dollars as soon as he had shut the doors. After giving him 20$ dollars and asking for the 10$ change he responded with broken english that we will get the change right away. We had to ask two more times for the money before we received our 10$. Irritaded by the whole situation we put it on the language barrier. When we arrived at the hotel it wasn‘t looking very inviting from neither the outside nor the inside. It felt like 40 degrees in the lobby and just to make sure what we have gotten ourselfs into we asked if we could see a room first before checking in. We could see that the people at the front desk didn‘t like that idea and they were discussing stuff in their mother tongue, their eyes still focused at us. Reluctantly he showed us the room. It was very heaten up and a little smelly but it had an ac and he told us that he has just turned it on. So it will be cool in notime. The rest of the room looked „okay“ at first and so we went back to the frontdesk and continued the ckeck-in. While I was completing the formal stuff the woman asked me why we wanted to see the room first, in a tone as if I had insulted her personally. I explained to her that we are just tired and stressed out and we didn‘t want to offend her. She did not reply anything and gave us the key, the wifi password and the remote to the television. But not before demanding the 10$ dollar transportation fee for the next day. Coming back to the room we noticed, that it hasn‘t cooled down. We started looking for a way to control the ac but decided to ask the staff if they could help us. They told me that they only have one remote and if we want to change the settings of the ac we would have to talk to them. After asking several times to give me the remote just temporarilly so we could adjust everything, they gave in and handed the remote over. But only if I will bring it back right afterwards. Be

Aatutomo0718I have traveled to Guam many times, but I always used the hotel near Tamon Bay. I used the Royal Orchid Hotel for the first time this time, but it was more convenient and better than I thought. Near the hotel, there was a free shuttle bus to outlets, micronesia mall and DFS. The hotel had washing machines and dryers, but I think it was good to use them for free. There were caprichoza and Tony Rome in the hotel, both of which were favorite restaurants. The unfortunate thing is that there was no veranda. The dryer was important because there was little space for laundry to dry. Near the front desk, there was a staff who could speak Japanese from the afternoon, so I was saved. I would like to use this hotel if I have a chance.

GGuest UserHotel is basic nothing fancy but I love it. Stayed in Guam with my mom for about a week before we continue our travels and we stayed at this hotel. The staffs were very friendly and always attentive. There was never a time when the staff were rude to us. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit.
