The hotel is in the very center. Very comfortably. There is a restaurant downstairs, it's fashionable to eat. But the quality did not tempt us. Unfortunately, everything was very shaky and many things were not working. When we moved in they didn't do any cleaning. True, when they said about it, they cleaned it up efficiently. In principle, strangely enough, it seems to us that this is more or less acceptable. The staff here was very friendly.

I arrived at the hotel at 9 o'clock on the day, but I was able to check in.
The facility was quite old, but I had no trouble using it.
All the employees had a nice smile and were kind.
Only one point, there is no hair dryer, so you should bring your own. I asked at the front desk, but the hotel doesn't have one.

Basic older-ish hotel in a Central location, in a decently safe area. Would recommend.
The only thing is it was under renovation when I stayed. And in my case, I was put in a room right next to the construction. So the hallway was in upheaval and the construction noise was kind of annoying.
Maybe ask for a room NOT (next to/on the same floor/ below) the construction.

The hotel is conveniently located near the central plazas and the shopping area east of Independencia Sur. The cost of the hotel compares favorably with other hotels in the area.
It would have been nice if there were more amenities, such as a coffee maker and iron in the room. A fitness center would be a big plus too. The room was pretty clean, but there was a little mold near the ceiling of the shower.

Some misinformation. There is no refrigerator or in room safe in the rooms. This needs to be corrected on the Hotels website. The people are nice. The rooms are decent. Some rooms border a music store that can be loud during the day. Good AC. hot water. Good Location and can walk 5 minutes to Cathedral of Guadalajara. Several buffet places, coffee, and stores on main street 2 minute walk straight outside hotel across the street one block (not left or right). Take a strong right out of hotel and there is a small grocery store for drinks. Take a left and some good local restaurants including salad or tacos.

Pros: Great location/affordable. Everything is in walking distance, the Cathedral and the Mercado. This might be a little funny but the water pressure and temperature is great for it being in Mexico! Hotel Staff were nice and friendly.
Cons: The pics online look deceiving—outdated. And the area looks a little sketchy, it looks like abandoned buildings with graffiti all over. And the hotel room especially the bathroom smelled like sewage. The door to the room also seemed to not close well. I will not be staying at this location again.
