An old-fashioned hotel in the city center, very emotional. It is next to the Santa Maria Church, the oldest church in the city, and the steeple of the church can be seen from the balcony of the room. Excellent value for money. The service attitude is also very good. The only downside is that the facilities in the room are slightly backward, the drainage of the washbasin is not good, and the hot water regulation is not very smooth.

I was upgraded to the fourth floor with a view of the cathedral. Spectacular. The Mendoza is not a five star hotel, but in my heart it is if you like: a warm welcome; comfortable accommodations; the best location in the city; around-the-corner underground light rail station (in front of the Cathedral!!!), a decent place to eat when it is too early or too late to venture out into the plaza; and, a decent price for accommodations.

We slept with the air conditioner on thinking it was a heater. We only found one blanket instead of two. And the one blanket had a hole. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay on the second night. The temperature control I believe said heater and not air conditioning.

I enjoyed a very nice room that overlooked the pool. However, it could have been better if it had a coffee maker. Complementary bottled water was a welcome addition. I enjoyed that the television received one English station, CNN. The large roof top deck was a great place to relax and bask in the sun. Unfortunately, the gym and the pool we’re both substandard. The restaurant what is very nice.

The value exceeds expectation. Perfect location for sightseeing. Exterior is much better than being shown on google. Room is large and comfortable for 4. Deco and architecture are beautiful with interesting wooden carving design. Staffs are very nice and friendly. The only negative is very slow wifi. We'll stay here again.
