I only spent one night at Grunau Country Hotel. The welcome and hospitality was warm and the room was as described and sufficient for my needs. The WiFi didn't extend to the rooms, but I could work off it if I sat close to the reception area. I would stay at the Hotel again, if I had to. My thanks to all the staff for a pleasant stay.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay here at The Grunau Country Hotel! The room was spotless, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the food were top-notch. You must try their "Lamb Potjie & Rump Steak with Coleslaw." Thank you so much Stefan and Susan for welcoming us and for all the laughs and amazing time.

We enjoyed a lovely meal and a good nights rest. After travelling almost the whole day we arrived and were warmly welcomed. Just a pity that there are no WiFi available in the rooms.

The Grunau Hotel is a good place for an overnight stay between South Africa and Windhoek. The price is very reasonable and the room was fine and the shower good. It would be nice if there could be a fly screen in front of at least one window for fresh air since it is not necessary to use the aircon on a cool evening. We had good food although we had to wait long, so I suggest you order as soon as you arrive if you do not have time to wait.

We loved staying there, the most amazing staff, delicious food and the owners welcomed us with true Namibian hospitality. The accommodation, just what we needed after a long drive from SA. This is my first stay over & I have to say it was the friendliest place ever! I was greeted as if I was the most most important guest even though I stayed one night. The chicken salad was moist, tasty & filling...My room was cool, the curtains kept the temp down but had to put on aircon eventually. I would definitely recommend staying here even if it is 1 night, you will miss out if you do not!

Visited this hotel last 10 years ago and it did not disappoint. A cool and very comfortable room and lovely hospitality after a long dusty drive.
