We stayed in the Clouds Rest room (pictured on the second floor with the balcony). Nice to sit outside sipping coffee in the morning. Spacious room with nice comfortable bed. The delightful manager was very helpful. Not your typical B&B, the breakfast was a $10 off coupon for the coffee shop across the street, which we very much enjoyed. The bathroom had a jetted tub or hand-held shower nozzle.

The staff was friendly, the accommodations comfortable. However, they desperately need to be able to handle credit cards securely rather than writing the number on paper (which is what they did). A couple weeks after our visit, I got 3 new transactions - one was rather sizable - on my credit card that I hardly ever use and haven’t used since our stay. Until they can handle credit cards properly, be sure to pay online with your phone. I emailed the inn a few days later, but never heard back, which is disturbing.

This is an old house that is neglected and not maintained including the landscape. Miserable experience. Way overpriced for cheap accommodations. Little is done to make the place comfortable for guests.

We did not have a good experience at this inn. We found the bed to be uncomfortable. In addition, the room was not clean. I did email the owner and after one week, I got a response addressing some of my concerns, which I appreciate. Two stars given for the friendly staff. For the price and the experience we had, we would not stay again.

Unfortunately, my boyfriend and I did not have a positive experience at this inn. Whole I agree with other reviews that the inn could use an overhaul, this alone wasn’t an issue. We were most disturbed by lack of cleanliness and comfort. The bed was old and sunk towards the middle. Our sheets had stains. There was a dirty bathmat behind the toilet and remnants in the room from the previous guests. Most disturbing was rodent poop in the corner of our room. It is not unusual for old houses to have rodents but in the case of an inn, cleanliness and rodent control should be top priority. I emailed the owner about our experience and didn’t receive a reply. I am leaving two stars because the employees were friendly. However, we wouldn’t stay here again.

The location in Groveland was terrific, the host was incredibly welcoming and organized, the breakfast was yummy, and the room had been cleaned. But the Inn itself needs some sprucing up — looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 80s/90s, with associated wear and tear on the carpets, walls, bathroom. That made it hard to feel comfortable that the room was truly clean, and to settle in. We’d chosen to stay here because it got comparable ratings to other hotels in the area that had been highly recommended, but at 70% the price. But you get what you pay for. That said, if your priority is an affordable, friendly stay in a great location, this is a very good option.

I booked a room there in 2020 because I was supposed to go to the US in August 2020 but because of Covid I couldn’t do the trip. The price was not refundable, so they were obliged to give me a voucher. I’ve tried to use the voucher this year (I also rearranged the same itinerary just to use this voucher) and I wrote to them everywhere (personal email, Facebook, official website..) but they never answered me. Also emoloyee’s of “***********” tried to help me by calling the hotel by phone but they never let them know about my voucher. They’re réally unprofessional. I don’t recommend it at all

La gentillesse de la propriétaire est a coupé le souffle . Une gentillesse pour cette dame qui est au petit soins et qui veut bien faire , elle est aussi la pour servrir que pour vous donner les bons plans a faire dans le coin. Sans doute l'un des meilleures hotels que j'ai fais ! . Pourtant je viens de quitter le bellagio mais c'etait sans ame! . Au moins cet hotel a une ame ! . Merci madame !!
