Baymont by Wyndham Groton/Mystic

We've stayed here before, but this time seemed different. The elevator was out the entire time we went out on Weds and I have a special needs child with mobility issues. Also, are there any ice machines that work in the building? The only manager I saw was Joe when he was fixing the elevator. If i rang the bell at the front desk i felt like I was disturbing the manager on duty. Asked for pillows my first night and it was like pulling teeth to get more than one extra. Also, please consider purchasing some roll away beds as availability is stated on the website. No more Flannagan's either. Just seems to be on a shoestring budget this time around.

It was a place to sleep. The hotel was not inviting from the outside. The place was not as expected they did not inforce the no Smoking rules. The entire hotel smelled like ****. The hot tube was closed. Breakfast was bare min.

It’s obviously dated but under renewal. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, the manager Joe was readily responsive to every request and doing the work of three people with a friendly attitude.

Good for one night Older hotel but the room was clean, bed was comfy. Great distance to the ******.

I didn’t like that breakfasts is a joke. They don’t have a hot breakfast as advertised. They had cereal milk sugar and coffee. For what they charge they should deliver. They took the smoke detector out and left us with no security when I told them it was making a low battery noise. Safety concern. I found hairs from someone else in the shower curtain. Grosss never again I will stay here.

This place is a real dump. Would not recommend this to anyone. No one ever manned the front desk. Never saw anyone cleaning the hallways. No ice machines worked. Advertised in the front billboard full breakfast. That was certainly a joke.
