I was surprised at first, but it turned out that the receptionist who checked me in had forgotten to record the payment in their system. Fortunately, everything was sorted out. All good! The staff were very kind and gave me a lower bed because I can’t climb to the upper bed."

Beautifully decorated rooms (every one of them is unique!) with well preserved history of this fantastic property, right in the heart of the busy city - yet it’s a peaceful, green, well hidden gem! This is probably the best night sleep we’ve ever had (amongst all other hotels we have visited in different parts of the world), so much that we purchased some pillows! We highly appreciate your kindness, generous talks, delicious food & outstanding wine selection, but most importantly - your gracious service! A heartfelt thank you to ALL of you (in front & behind the scene) for looking after our comfort, but especially to Ann, Brit, Jasper, Earde & Sam. We’re excited for our return soon!"
