Beautiful place, great location, helpful and friendly staff. Ive been a regular here for many many years, for a reason. TripAdvisor wants me to write more characters, but there's little left to say. One word would be sufficient: great. Go if you can.

Excellent service, very good week-end in this great hotel; this time we tried the brasserie, the meal was excellent as well as the service, however the first 2 hours were a kind of disaster as we got only one starter in 2 hours :-( after sending our remark to the chef it went quicker, but this impacted our global meal experience unfortunately. Breakfast very excellent, checkin and checkout quick and easy...

A marvelous place in a building where you feel history pass by. Each ciber tells you it’s own story. Staff very well trained and always attentive to the customer needs. A real example of TOP NPS! The food and both restaurants are marvelous. You feel the freshness of each ingredient together with the atmosphere.

We chose Groningen as our central location to enjoy the fantastic cycle routes in the North Holland . The hotel has a fantastic service and offers all the amenities for free including the minibar on a daily basis . We enjoyed the car valet service. Looking forward to our next stay with you .

We had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The high point is the staff, so warm friendly and helpful. A particular mention to the wonderful lady who organises the breakfast, She is a star. The kitchen staff accommodating the special diet restrictions for my wife. She really enjoyed the stay knowing that the team were taking good care with her food preparation. Would highly recommend the hotel.

This hotel has been very tastefully renovated and lies in a quiet area of the city, though very close to everything with a delightful garden area. My only quibble, and it is a personal one, is that the beds are rather soft. The mainly young staff are enthusiastic and very well trained.

This place is stunningly beautiful- high spec and so well maintained. The rooms are furnished to perfection and the staff is wonderful. The 5 course meal was delicious, inventive and beautifully presented- we loved loved loved it !! The rose garden is so captivating- just book this place, you will not regret it :-)

One of the best hotels we’ve ever visited. The staff are attentive, friendly and focused on their guests. The beds are supremely comfortable, the rooms excellently equipped and the food is superb. We ate in both the Brasserie and the Nassau restaurant and our dinners (and breakfast) were delicious - especially the Groninger soup.

This is a gem hidden away (literally if you are arriving by car) in the center of town. It is within walking distance of all the sights you might want to visit. Oasis is the word that comes to mind. We stayed in an exquisite junior suite overlooking the magnificent garden. Service was impeccable both in the hotel and dining room. Valet parking worked like a charm as there is no parking on site. Breakfast was a comprehensive spread of anything you could want, plus eggs and sides to order. The inner courtyard was a haven for meals and drinks in lovely weather. We ate dinner in Brasserie twice. Do not fail to order the mustard soup -- a local specialty - and the culinary high spot of our trip. You will have a grand time here. We did.
