With a dozen of friends after doing the bicycle tour of "Grajska kolesarska pot" we had a lunch at Smrekarjeva domačija. Beautiful place in the renovated hayloft. The meals špargljeva and goveja juha, skutini štruklji and various meats were delicious. The owner and the young lady were very friendly and professional. The price was correct. I highly recommend it, probably the best option for eating and also for overnight stay in the Postojna region.

WOW! WOW! and WOW! If you are in the Postojna area, DO NOT HESITATE to stay the night at the Fattoria Smrekarjeva Domacija. It is set in an idyllic country road (it used to be a farm) and you are met with Melita, the NICEST host ever! they rent rooms but since we were 4, we booked the one and only apartment and we couldn't believe how beautiful it was: the decor marries the original wood with modern facilities. The toiletries are even from L'Occitane! and the FOOD!!!! ALL local, homemade food at a very reasonable price; we had the taste plate for dinner at 15e each and there was so much, we hardly. finished it. And do not miss the buffet breakfast; well worth it! It will keep you sated for most of the day. To top it all, if you are animal lovers, or if you are travelling with kids, you can go pet the goats; they are used to it and love the attention.

We came for one night. Extremely nice clean and the owner very nice helpfull .the room clean with comfortable bed.dinner and breakfast are excellent. I'll give it a 10 out of 10 It is in the heart of beautiful village. Beautiful with a charming view

This is an excellent example af an “agriturismo,” a working farm that offers rooms to visitors. The place is very up-to-date, with all the amenities you could want, and the rooms are spacious and clean with a nice rustic flavor. We had breakfast and dinner here and both meals were well-priced and delicious. The surrounding bucolic countryside offers great opportunities for walking and cycling, and the attractions of Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle are within easy driving distance. We recommend SD very highly!

A lovely farmhouse with a very welcoming owner. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The owner was so sweet to me and made a fantastic breakfast using entirely fresh ingredients from her farm. She also made a delicious soufflé for my birthday :) My stay was peaceful and relaxing. I felt right at home.

We stayed one night… The rooms are large and modern. There is satellite TV but not many channels. The biggest and best thing about this site is the people running it. It is a family business and everyone is devoted to quality service. Breakfast is amazing. They make their own yogurt. The sliced meats are local. They put a ton of effort into making sure all customers have a fantastic stay.

A very welcoming hotel with an accessible kitchen, a comfortable garden, big bedrooms and heart warming food. Most importantly the host (we met their daughter) was always smiling and made us feel at home ! Thank you guys for this cozy trip near the great Postonja Caves

Un gioiello tra le roccie, uno spettacolo unico, parcheggiato l'auto nel parcheggio poco sotto..a pagamento, ci siamo avviati per la visita. Questo maniero incassonato nella montagna si9 può visitare al suo interno, scale scalette anche un pò tortuore ma avventurose. La visita è abbastanza veloce, al suo interno anche un negozietto per i ricordini e altro, pure il vino locale. Nelle vicinanze anche un bar e ristoro.
