Neeld Arms

Just got back from a 2 night stay visiting Bath,[20 mins to Bath park & ride by car] really good "locals" village pub with rooms.great staff homely food & a great breakfast including the best "bacon" we have had in living memory. Mark & Mark + team have only recently taken over but with 2 other pubs already up and running its clear this is a professional team who understand hospitality & all it entails. Deserves support we loved it.

This pub has changed hands a few times recently having been the “go to” place for us for a number of years. Having gone downhill it is under new ownership and as good as or even better than it has ever been. Atmosphere good, staff helpful and polite but the food today was faultless. Can’t wait to go again.

Under new management and a vibrant energetic feel to this charming pub and restaurant with rooms above. The new decor is excellent and the pub feels homely with a great range of ales and drinks. The menu is excellent and well priced for the quality of food offered. Maisy looked after us well and made us feel like VIP's when we walked through the door. Mark and Mark have two other pubs nearby and this is a fantastic addition to their business. They care about customers and offer a great service. Highly recommended!

We are visiting from South Devon and staying in the village of Grittleton. We had a fantastic supper tonight at the local pub The Neeld Arms, very friendly and helpful staff, providing great service, and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended

THE NEELD Arms The picture is confusing this is a lovely country pub not a hotel. Under new management September '24 and our Sunday roasts were delicious. Would happily return & recommend. Really tasty roast meats & plenty of veg & gravy. Amazing crackling.

We thoroughly enjoyed an excellent mid week dinner in the Neeld Arms, a pub which has recently undergone a superb transformation under the new operators, Mark & Mark. I have long enjoyed their two other pubs, The Langley Tap and The Wellesley Arms - make no mistake these chaps and the Team under their stewardship are excellent and highly hospitable operators. The ambience has been significantly upgraded with the recent renovations and the quality of the food proposition is everything it should be. As a free house they are focussed on bringing fresh and interesting guest ales and I’m looking forward to seeing what they do with their wine list. I predict this place will become a firm favourite in the area and I look forward to many more visits - although my credit card might not!! Well done! Long may it continue.
