Hotel is very nice. We had wonderful stay. Location it self is very beautiful.

The attitude is very good. For a hotel on the mountain, I am a little worried about the hygiene, especially the big fluffy blanket

The room was clean and the service was attentive. We arrived very late and left a note at the front desk.

The room was very good. I booked it for two nights in a row. I will stay here again next time I have the opportunity. The lady is great too

The room layout is very local. The hotel is in a good location, with beautiful environment and complete facilities. The mini bar in the room is free on the first night, which is a surprise.

The Aspen Alpin was a great choice for our family. The beds were comfortable, we had a great view of the Alps from our balcony, and the sauna/spa was expansive and relaxing. The breakfast had so many options of which to choose - not just a continental buffet breakfast. Dinner was great - another diner told us that she's come back for years just to have the hamburger! I can say that the burger was AMAZING! When I had an injury, the staff went out of their way to provide me with multiple bags of ice and asked how I was doing. The only negatives are that the hotel is a good 10 minute drive from town and there are very limited taxis. Therefore you really have to rely on the public free bus which only goes to the Aspen once/hour. Also, there is no elevator in the hotel and it has a lot of stairs. I would definitely go back as the service was great and the food was amazing!

We were here in March 2024 with a smaller group for skiing. Excellent Hotel, good service, good location. Ski in (if enough snow) and good parking for cars. Bar is nice and invites to sit until late. We enjoyed our time here and can recommend this Hotel.

Very happy with our short stay. The suite was furnished to a high standard and very comfortable. The log fire a real plus. Staff were friendly and helpful and actually knew how to run a hotel. (Recent experience in other 4/5* hotels on this trip involved fairly chaotic levels of service with young trainees and students lacking proper supervision) We chose to dine in and didn’t regret it. Excellent combination of food and service. Breakfast also a good combination of buffet and a la carte served quickly ( important when you want to get out on the slopes). All round 5 stars! Thank you.

This is the 3rd time we stayed in Aspen Alpin Hotel and the team there continues to offer great hospitality and service. The hotel remains at the top of the hotels in Grindelwald. The owners and their team provide great attention to details in order to make you feel at home. It starts with the warm welcome from the moment you enter the reception. The luxury family suite we stayed in was spectacular: spacious, 2 balconies with great view, large rooms and a very big 'living' area. As for the food, with choices between local specials and international cuisine, this is also one of the better places in Grindelwald. Worth mentioning that the hotel also provides an optional shuttle service and can take care of all your ticket bookings (ski pass, travel pass,..). Looking forward to the next winter season in Aspen Alpin Hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel staff are wonderful, the food is fantastic (the best steak that we have ever had!), and the location is ideal (bus stop is in the parking lot ski in ski out when there is snow). The rooms are clean and modern. A resort shuttle runs when buses are not running (at an additional cost). This all made for a relaxing stay.

The Aspen Hotel is wonderful and has a good location. The reception staff were friendly and welcomed us and provided good services to us to enjoy a comfortable stay. The hotel is clean and its located in the middle of the Alps

The hotel is a little bit outside of the village. Google maps guided us via the steepest route (We found an easier route later), but it was more than worth it! The hotel looks charming. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There were 2 duvets, that’s not our preference. We did have an amazing balcony, it was on two sides of the room and had amazing eiger Mountain View. The hotel offers free coffee and cake in the afternoon, that was a nice surprise. The food in the restaurant was good and the staff are all very friendly!

If you enjoy luxury then this is the place for you. It's remote, quiet, and absolutely stunning. Stayed 4 nights in the 1 bedroom suite with mountain views, and enjoyed breakfast everyday before adventuring. Staff were polite and very professional. Multi-lingual. The spa is nice and quiet. I recommend a massage with Wanda, she is fantastic. There is a free shuttle to Grindelwald, how often, I'm not sure. There is available parking for rental cars. Dinner on the deck nightly was fabulous and drinks were even better! The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays.
