We booked the seven course taster menu along with the drinks flight to accompany each course. The food was excellent. The waitress took the time to explain each dish and along with the drink to complement it. Each one was a match made in heaven.

This is our 2nd visit to this hotel whilst visiting relatives in the area. We had a 3 night stay Really lovely location in beautiful grounds . We saw wild rabbits and dear early morning on both visits . The rooms are lovely , comfortable, spacious and clean. Staff are friendly, helpful and attentive . The breakfast and quality of food in the restaurant very good. Would highly recommend this hotel.

I booked afternoon tea for my mum's birthday which was last month. They only started serving it again this week but I am gf and known they are usually good for accommodating people so didn't mind the wait. We wanted to add more people to our booking last minute and the receptionist was very good explaining they couldn't have afternoon tea, but could order from the normal lunch menu. We went and everything was going ok until they brought the desserts for my gf afternoon tea. They had substituted items from the menu they had given me, but no one had told me. I had the menu in front of me and the items I was brought didn't match. I had to ask what the items were and the poor girl serving couldn't have handled it any better. Then the manager was nothing but lovely. I think a lot of the staff are a credit to the place, but it has poor communication as the manager told me he would have explained about the substitutions if he knew. Also the tables were very wobbly, we were supposed to have unlimited tea and coffee but weren't asked for refills at any point and you could see damp mould in the corner where we were sitting. Not keen on going back as I have personally had issues and know a lot of people have too. It is a shame as it's such a lovely looking place.

Following a funeral, we booked a table for five for a meal and a few drinks. As the restaurant wasn't open, we were seated in the bar of the Pig and Whistle. Although a little noisy, it was pleasant, and the large table was well situated. Following drinks, of which there was a very good selection, we ordered our meals. The fish and chips were excellent. The haddock was very fresh, something you would expect as Healing is adjacent to Grimsby. Following an excellent main course, I was full, but my wife had a beautiful lemon meringue. As a cherry on the top, our food and drinks bill was reduced by 25% because we were eating between 4 pm and 6 pm. Overall, the service was excellent, with a special mention to the young lady who served us. We will definitely be going again and would highly recommend giving Healing Manor and the Pig and Whistle a try. 10/10

Cannot fault our stay here at all. Stayed in a suite. Was huge, you could easily have fitted our entire upstairs in the room and bathroom! Fell in love with the huge bed and the bath! Hubby loved the rainfall shower. Room included fridge and complementary bottle of fizz already chilling in an ice bucket with glasses when we arrived as well as bath robes. Had our Sunday lunch here which was lovely and filling and can highly recommend the Dubai brownie for all chocolate lovers! Breakfast was served piping hot and at reasonable times with everything well cooked and all you can eat and well as a decent continental. Have already booked to go again and looking forward to a relaxing weekend

We visited for Sunday lunch we arrived and shown to our table got our drinks and we ordered. Waited for our starters which weren’t anything amazing they read better than they were and also cold. We ordered beef and we were given an option of pink or well cooked we opted for pink and we got well cooked we questioned this but we were told the chef said it was pink we didn’t want to argue with the chef so accepted our dinner and carried on. Beef tough as old boots tasteless veg and probably could do a lot better at home. Nice place but clueless and staff with attitude not good also place needs a good clean shame cause it’s such a nice venue. Staff training needed

We recently celebrated our Ruby Wedding Anniversary with the Beef Wellington stay and dine offer. Everything from booking to checking out was fantastic. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely and relaxing, just what we needed. The food was superb and just when we had finished we had an extra plate of cake to celebrate with. Definitely won’t wait till our golden wedding to return

We have just been for the new Easter Afternoon Tea and could not fault the food and service. The variety of treats was vast and all fresh, served by attentive and friendly staff. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely and thr views over the grounds perfect.

Great hotel, stayed on their tasting menu offer. Rooms in the courtyard very nice, clean, toiletries included, water in the fridge, maybe a good stopover for Humberside airport. Breakfast was fantastic. Good restaurant, didn’t go in the function room.
