I found it to be a lovely, and quiet place. Everyone I came across from the staff were beyond friendly and helpful. Hands down one of the best complimentary breakfast spread I’ve ever had. They have a very cool feature having the livestock around the property. I loved visiting all of the animals every morning. There is a private path to get to the center. One of the better experiences we had in Italy.

My husband and I recently stayed here for a (much too short) portion of our honeymoon. Since it was our first time in Italy, we decided to split our time spent in Tuscany between Florence and Terre di Baccio and while we had a wonderful time in Florence, our next trip will prioritize spending time here! The estate is beautiful, the massages were much needed, the wine tasting was great, and the food was some of the best we'd had on our entire trip! (And we dined at a Michelin-star restaurant so that's saying something). Everyone was very welcoming and it was such a relaxing reprieve between cities. We had to leave on the early side to catch our train to Rome and without us asking, it was offered to us to eat breakfast (served in the stunning orangerie) earlier than is usually served, which was greatly appreciated! Two cons: the roosters are quite loud and we left with a fair share of mosquito bites. Not much anyone can do about it and only makes sense with the location, so maybe bring bug spray and/or earplugs if it bothers you. Truly the only negatives we have outside of how short our stay was!

This place is a true paradise. They did a really nice job taking care of the property and it felt like a garden of the gods. Conveniently, there is a nice town 15 minute walk from the resort, so it was easy to have dinner in the town square. But while on the resort, you felt as if you were a hundred miles from anywhere else. Terre di Baccio does not disappoint.

Terre di Baccio was a wonderful surprise in Greve in Chianti. The room was spacious and comfortable. Although it was too cold to use, the outdoor pool and poolside bar looked great. There is also a nice small outdoor gym in which I worked out each morning. A nice breakfast each morning in included and the resort also has its own small restaurant on site - the chef cooked a private meal for us! - and another restaurant in the village that was very good. There are also goats, alpacas, bunnies, turkeys, peacocks, ducks, geese, chickens and dogs on the farm, not to mention the vineyards from where their own Chianti comes from. Would certainly visit again!

This is such a special place, and such a wonderful reprieve from the fast pace of in-city tourism. We have always loved farm stays, and Terre di Baccio’s laid-back but luxurious approach to accommodations, activities and living is just such a nice time. The rooms are intimate, the food is delicious, the location is convenient to Florence, and the team is WONDERFUL.

If your reading reviews about Terre Di Baccio then you must be thinking about staying here. Well think no more and book a few nights here, you won’t be disappointed. Such a peaceful tranquil place to spend nights after touring around Chianti. Staff are really nice and have all the time in the world to spend time talking to the guests, whether it’s recommending local restaurants, talking about the house or just general chitchat. The walks around the grounds are fantastic with all the animals to see. The pool, hot tub, and sauna and everything are well maintained and spotless clean. Breakfast is plentiful, fresh and well laid out. Coffee is as good as it gets. Although we didn’t have an evening meal here I can only imagine how good it would be. All in all it’s truly a fantastic agriturismo and one we hope to visit again.

Terre di Baccio is the perfect place for a romantic and relaxing getaway in Tuscany. My husband and I were blown away by the beauty of this place, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had breakfast at the hotel (its included) every morning and it was always delicious and fresh. We had multiple lunches and dinners on the property as well and all of them were spectacular. We took the Pasta Cooking class with the Chef and it was such a wonderful and fun experience - we learned so much and the Chef was so knowledgeable and kind. The hotel also helped us book a private tour of the Chianti region which was enjoyable and allowed us to learn so much more about this beautiful region of Italy. The pool is quiet and relaxing. The hotel is just a short walk into Greve where there are lots of great restaurants and cute shops. Overall I would absolutely stay at Terre di Baccio again, and I recommend anyone considering this place to look no further. This is where you want to stay in Chianti.

We had high expectations of this place. It was intended to be a restful 6 days after 5 days in Florence and before 5 days in Rome. We had booked a Manger room which in reality was a windowless, small room situated near a kitchen with incessant noise from a fountain right outside. Very disappointing and very expensive for the size. On our first morning we awoke to the bathroom sink flooding all over the floor. When we got back that day we learned that we had been upgraded to a suite in the house. This was a much nicer room, spacious and airy with tiny bathroom. A real downside for us was the policy of playing piped music all around the premises, the courtyard, the gardens, the pool and you could hear it in the room. You just could not escape it, so my relaxing few days in the countryside didn't happen. Down at the chapel outside area where the wine tastings take place, extremely loud music is played all day. We walked on the opposite hillside and you could hear it there reverberating around. Given that this an organic agriturismo, the owners need to think about noise pollution and the effect it has on guests and their neighbours. I spoke to 2 different employees about it. The first turned it off immediately explaining it was the owner's desire for music to be played at the property. The second turned it off after a little while but it came back on a short time later. Her explanation was that it was policy. If people want to listen to music they have their headphones to listen to their choice of music in today's world, without spoiling other people's enjoyment of their surroundings. I like to listen to the peace and quiet of the countryside, enjoy the spectacular views and hear the animals. So a real disappointment. The crown in the jewel of this establishment is the staff. All, without exception are friendly and accommodating and want you to have a nice time. The lady in the breakfast room prepares everything for breakfast. Her cakes and breakfast items were simply wonderful. We ate in the restaurant. Beautifully cooked food but very expensive food and wine. We ate and drank the same quality in Greve at a much reduced price. So all in all a disappointment. It could be so much better.
