Beautiful location with fabulous views. Spacious bedroom and bathroom with his and hers sinks and a huge shower room. Heated infinity pool with honesty bar and sun beds (some in the shade) made for a relaxing stay. Food and wine were exceptional and the staff (especially Nicolo) were so friendly, engaging and well informed about the menu and wine list. Well positioned for sightseeing with Florence and Siena less than an hour away by car. Great value for money and highly recommended!

Picked up a last minute cancellation for 3 nights stay here at the end of August. We consider ourselves to be extremely lucky! What an amazing place to stay. Beautiful rooms with large and comfortable beds, great bed linen, fantastic showers. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful pool with enough sun loungers for all guests and honesty bar. Great breakfast and evening meal. The menu in the evening offers 2 options - either 2 courses and a desert for 60 euros or 3 courses and a desert for 70 euros. Their wine is also fabulous and you can drink it by the pool. 5 minute drive into Greve offers other options for dining. We would love to stay here again.

Pietra del Cabreo - Greve del Chianti Nestled beautifully south of Florence, you would miss it if you didn’t know, Is the most amazingly well kept retreat, named Pietra del Cabreo. Where you can stop to unwind and attempt to slow down the sands of time, Amongst tranquil olive trees and row upon row of Chianti grape vines. It’s Infinity pool disappearing within the hills is a sight of pure wonder, To relax alongside in the Tuscany heat, before cooling off with a plunder. The surrounding gardens and lawns so lush and wonderfully green, Watered every morning by traversing sprinklers, that by day are not seen. And the carefully laid path stones, create the perfect transcending walk, As couples holding hands navigate the gardens and consistently talk. The landscape around is so difficult to perfectly describe, So gorgeous in its presentation and lasting so far and wide. Butterflies cross cross each other as they carefully cruise on by, And swallows take chance for some water, from the clear pool as they fly. The many various trees of all shapes, shades of green and different sizes, Growing berries and fruits and other local food prizes. The hospitality of this place, well it’s just simply amazing from the start, Their style, presentation and delivery, down to a fine art. You are made to feel welcome from the very moment that you arrive, Just what was needed for us, after such a long drive. There was Michele the manager, Leonardo and Matteo too, Nothing was too much trouble and they did all they can do. The rooms are spacious with every detail so meticulously planned to suit, Double shower and twin wash basins and a huge queen bed to boot. The shower wash, conditioner and body lotion and all locally made, Provided in abundance in such presentation and professionally laid. The view out over the hills, is what totally sells this wonderful place, The elegance and perfection, is truly a thing of grace. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is available and all provided within, Catering for all with meats dishes, vegan or choice of vegetarian. To be able to dine as we did and watch the sun carefully lay down, Surrounded by other various diners all smiling, not a single frown. The August heat is exceptional, as are the crystal blue skies, Such a difference to British weather and certainly a far cry. We were simply lost in the moment and the total perfection of it all, The best stay ever not an understatement, we simply had a ball. Looking for a stay in Tuscany, look no further than Greve in Chianti right now, It’s 10 out of 10 rating, is very simple to see somehow. Beyond the outstanding natural beauty of the location, a real paradise on earth, dining at La Pietra del Cabreo was an unforgettable experience. Letizia and all the Team were excellent. Hospitality at La Pietra del Cabreo is elegant and informal at the same time, the menu is very well designed and the food pairing with all the labels of the Folonari Family's Estates really impressive. From the starters to the dessert + their homemade grappa in Montalcino! All was incredibly wonderful. Also the check surprised us - (absolutely under priced)

Amazing place, very clean, the team here are very helpfull. Exclusive. The swimming pool was heated and it was fun to swim. Breakfast wab extreemly good. We walked around the hotel, nature at best. All you hear is birds. Also the garden sitting area is very nice.

We stayed here as part of a guided hike we were taking. The hotel is amazing with wonderful views and beautiful rooms. Wine, olives, nuts, and cheese were served before dinner on our patio. The staff at the hotel is the most amazing part of the stay. The chef prepared a special vegan meal for me with a stuffed artichoke and gnocchi with asparagus. The food was 5 stars. We needed a ride on Easter Monday, and the concierge arranged it for us. Everything was perfect about this hotel. We wish it had been more than one night.

We choose this Hotel for my Daughters wedding in September so we decided to stay a few nights last week. It can only be described as magnificent. The staff are super friendly and the food and wine are amazing. Everything is first class and we are over the moon we choose this place for the wedding after looking at several venues. The Pietra Del Cabreo was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The surround countryside is beautiful and the views from our room were stunning and there was such peace and quiet. Having only 11 rooms means it's always quiet and relaxing, and the staff remember everyone. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak perfect English. All of them were top class. The breakfast was amazing and had a great variety. The restaurant in the evening was one of the best places we ate in Tuscany. Our room was beautiful, so spaceous, clean and perfectly decorated. We couldn't praise this place enough!!
