Hotel Europole

Let's start with the good; reception staff were friendly and helpful ( especially the lovely Rasha), location across from the train station was good and the cost was fairly reasonable. I'm guessing this hotel was built for the 1968 Olympics and has not been updated since. Felt very Eastern European cold war. Hard to find an outlet, let alone USB. Drab, dingy, outdated. Shower was cold, towels were practically threadbare. Bed has seen better days. Breakfast was understaffed. Had to cook your own eggs, squeeze your own juice and to help the harried staff we bussed our own dishes. We were next to the stairwell and could smell cigarettes when someone smoked there. Otherwise we smelled food from the restaurant and could hear lots of other guests. Dinner in the restaurant was pretty good. After walking around Grenoble maybe this is as good as it gets!
Aparthotel Adagio Grenoble Centre

Hotel in the city centre, I join the other comments, complicated to find places and actually there is a 2min parking but very expensive for 12h (more than € 40) For the check in, relatively fast (a little emeability would not hurt) The room was very simple, but I found hair in the washroom when we arrived, but I took them away, but to say, the very old windows. The household is not done daily for those who are waiting for it, the toilet paper is not delivered daily too. This is not disturbing but it is a detail to be taken into account. The bathroom would be better with a refreshment. The view of the mountains is very beautiful, it is not possible to remove them.

I booked this place because it is close to my friend's house, which is good overall. The room is a normal size in Europe, with complete facilities, and the service staff is kind and polite, and will stay again next time.

The Residhome Appart Hotel at the “Caserne de Bonne” in Grenoble was one of my classics in the pre-COVID era, and I came back to it recently in the context of a business trip to Grenoble. I was very happy to see that the excellent service, rooms and facilities are still in order. Obviously, we should not forget the amazing location of this hotel, right in the centre of Grenoble (with thus a bunch of shops and restaurants around). I therefore recommend it to anyone interested in a short visit to Grenoble. The room was very nice and clean, and large enough so that I could also work from it and prepare some refreshments in the kitchen space. My room only had a ceiling window, but I was not there for the view so that it was totally fine with me (although this may incommode some). Very importantly, the bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby. In my reservation, breakfast was included, and I must say that it is a bit better when compared with other hotels of the same category in the Rhone-Alpes region (all basics are there, including in particular a great selection of cheese). Finally, the personnel of the hotel are friendly and always helpful.
