Grenoble Hotels with Breakfast

The location is top and the rooms are really good and adequate. This based on our reservation was a junior suite with balcony. Breakfast table in the morning was super with fine selections and good stuff, The coffee on cans was thin like water! However, there was an expresso maschine for self service. We arrived by car, and since the hotel is in a pedestrian street they offer a valet service. Very good. The staff was very helpfull with anything, and also positive and smiling. We felt very good to stay here. The internet could have greater power, disfunction in busy hours!

Very good, good quality and cheap, the room is very comfortable, there is even a bathtub, this trip is a hotel with no bathtub, and finally more than 400 have a bathtub.

The hotel is located right beside the Grenoble train station in what could be considered as a business district. Surrounding the hotel are a range of offices such as the World Trade Centre and the School of Management. The main centre or more touristic area is a pleasant 10-15 stroll away or indeed you can take the tram. There are a few restaurants and convenience stores located within 5 minute walk. The entrance to the hotel is a little unassuming However upon entry you are greeted with a modern lobby. There is a nice seating area for meeting or enjoying a drink from the bar. This then expands to a restaurant area which gets good reviews and then further to the breakfast area. The fixtures and fittings are to a high standard and have a semi luxurious feel. The check-in was professional however a wait was needed until the room was ready even though it was already 2pm. The room was quite a contrast to the modern plush interior of the lobby. It felt a little dated and showed the signs of aging. The carpet and sofa stained, the curtains ripped, the table edging peeling. The decor of the room appeared a little drab. The room was a privilege room and was spacious with a large double bed (two singles zipped) sofa, desk, chair and lounge chair. It was equipped with a mini bar with complimentary drinks and a coffee pod machine (limescale in the water tank) and large screen TV. The bathroom was split into a separate shower and WC - handy for families I'm sure but not hygienic to have two doors between the toilet and sink. The worst element of this room was that it was located opposite the lift. The lift chimed not only when it landed on that floor, but also it seemed everytime it was used, that could only account for it chiming at least twice a minute in peak times and was loud enough for me to try and put pillows at the door to soundproof it somewhat. The room also didn't get cleaned in the three day stay when I left it empty each morning. Upon return after lunch I requested from the cleaner to at least replenish the tea/coffee but she never returned. Overall, this is a pleasant hotel and good value for money. However my opinion is that it is not up to the standard of other 4 star Novotels in France.

Very central location, hotel offers a clean room with extra facilities of electric hobs, microwave, coffee machine and kettle. The bath/shower was good and always had hot water. 2 chairs and table with tv. The room is not luxurious but has everything you need. There is a pharmcy across the road from the hotel and a supermarket a short walk away. You are also very close to shops and most tourist locations are a short walk away. You are also near bus and tram stops. It is about a 15/20 minute walk to the train/bus station for your return journey.

We stayed at the Park Hotel for 2 nights in early October 2021. The propoerty is well located just a few minutes walk from the historic center and on a nice park. The building looks like a condominium of apartments from the 40-50s in which the hotel was built. Lobby, common areas and dining room are very well furnished with a pleasant classic-modern theme. Our classic room was quite spacious and very comfortable and well equipped with a nice bathroom and free minibar (water and 1 coke), as well as a coffee / tea maker. Really rich and abundant breakfast for every taste. Staff is really kind, always available and took really good care of our requests with great professionalism both before and during our stay. Overall a great stay.

Found the hotel quite easy, but had to park across the road in a tight fitting public car park. Baggage had to be hauled over a busy road to the hotel. 17€ for a 24h car park- one time entry only. Critical points Room was cold as air con failed to work overnight - seems to have a timetable of its own. Regardless how cold it was. Room was also dark and in need of an upkeep. Headboard of the bed was badly wasted away and should be changed by now.. Dinner was cold platter only, and mainly vegetarian. Service a little slow. The advice at concierge was not very helpful in finding a restaurant nearby. Price / quality ratio under par. Having said that the corner room was spacious, although no wardrobe - just a hanger.

I have never given a bad review before but there's always a first. I am booked into this hotel by my company but am finding it very disagreeable. On arrival a woman thrust paperwork in my face and insisted I had cancelled my booking. I said I had just arrived in the country and had done no such thing. She was incredibly aggressive. In the end I paid myself to access the room and it later turned out it had been a software glitch but I got no apology. When I complained about how aggressive she had been I was told she had said I was aggressive! The room it appears will not get cleaned while I am here for four nights. The room only has a window in the ceiling. When I asked for an iron I was handed the iron and the ironing board to take up to my fourth floor room myself. Yesterday I witnessed someone asking why their apartment had not had its weekly clean, and a receptionist first tried to insist that it must have happened already or they must have put the 'do not disturb' sign on their door. The man was quietly insistent that this hadn't been the case, and then he had to practically beg for more shower gel. I will be moving hotel as soon as this booking is finished. On the plus side this hotel is well situated and close to everything you need. However it may as well be a massive AirBNB.

Opposite the railway station. A password is required to enter the gate. The apartment-style hotel has a kitchen for cooking, and the hygienic house has shelves for drying clothes. Carrefour easy is very close to the hotel.

Hotel d'Angleterre is centrally located in Grenoble, an easy 15 minute walk or 5 minute tram ride from the train station and a great base for exploring the old part of Grenoble. The building is an old Hausmannian with windows that face the Place de Victor Hugo or one of the side streets. I found the room large but somewhat dated. I had a quite musty odor on the first two nights and almost asked the front desk to investigate, however I found by the third night the odor was much better, so I ended up not raising the issue. The carpet seemed a little old, but the bed and fixtures were fine. Breakfast was good, with a selection of pastries, fruit, meat, cheese, and the option to boil or fry eggs fresh. After a week, it was a bit repetitive (but what hotel is not guilty of the same?)
