The check in on July 8th, 2023 was very professional and friendly. Unfortunately the beds were not made for older couples. After resting for an hour you had hip pain and lying on your other side didn't help. The beds had the comfort of a wooden plank.
At around 26" the screen was far too small for the distance between the headboard and the TV. A 50" would be appropriate here. The mini fridge contained water, a beer and something to snack on. Breakfast was included in the price. It was very rich. There was something for everyone, but that doesn't justify the high price of €136/night. We have often stayed in Mercure hotels in Saarland and have never paid more than €100 per night.
