Pettigru Place Bed & Breakfast

My wife & I stayed for 2 weekend nights at Pettigru Place B&B to end a 12-day pleasure tour of the Southeast. Our lodging bar was set very high by our previous lodging spots, and Pettigru Place easily measured up with its beautiful front gardens & attractively furnished interiors & a comfortable Queen guest room (Hummingbird) & flavorful unique breakfasts. Randi greeted us on our arrival, and her levels of friendliness & hospitality were amazing; she also prepared our breakfasts, which were delicious & filling with lots of healthy variety. The owner Lori served us both mornings, while she made sure guests were introduced to one another & provided very helpful information about local attractions. We had chosen this B&B for its proximity to Bon Secours Wellness Arena, offering us a short walk to & from the facility on consecutive days/nights to attend sporting events. The rear private parking lot off a quiet alleyway was a very convenient option for vehicle security & access whenever we drove around town, and the side door entry allowed for easy in & out of the house. Our experiences @ Pettigru made us wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the comfort & solitude without being on a schedule. Every aspect of our stay was top notch, and we would definitely stay at Pettigru Place B&B again if we returned to Greenville.

In celebration of my wife’s birthday, we stayed at the Pettigru Place B&B in Greenville, SC, from 5/30/2024 to 6/2/2024. This is our 3rd or 4th stay with the owner, Lori, and her staff. We couldn’t have had a better time. Pettigru Place is a gem in Greenville. Everything you need for a great stay is provided. Southern hospitality, comfortable rooms, a nice garden sitting area in which to relax. Afternoon wine and cheese if you’d like, and truly fabulous gourmet breakfasts. Some of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had have been at Pettigru Place. It’s only a short walk to the many great downtown restaurants and shops. Lori gave us recommendations on area dining and options for things to do in the area. The staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had a good, stress-free stay. During the weekend, we did a waterfall hike and took a relaxing tour around Lake Jocassee. Both were great. If you’re heading to Greenville, I highly recommend Pettigru Place. We’ll surely be returning for another stay. Bruce H.

My stay at Pettigru Place was wonderful! I appreciated the great introduction email filled with so many great resources and information! And the care and attention given to my dietary requests and limitations were outstanding and so thoughtful! My breakfasts were delicious ! And the puzzle was a really fun opportunity to relax! Also, it is conveniently located near downtown Greenville, which worked out great! I will be back!

We had a two night stay a this lovely historic home. The host provided a happy hour which allowed us to get to know fellow guests. The breakfast that she served was 5 star as were the rooms. Loved being able to walk to main street where we enjoyed biking and delicious meals. Would definitely love to go back to Pettigru and highly recommend to others.

Beautiful Place run by unbelievably charming people (Randy and Susi are simply lovely) with a yummy 😋 breakfast. Every room is uniquely styled. Excellent place to get in contact with other travelers and hear about their stories at breakfast.

ADORABLE bed and breakfast with the best staff!!! This 100+ year old house has a charming history and stands full of antique treasures! The lady in charge of running the house (who told us she has been there for over 20 years) is very sweet and full of suggestions on "things to do while in Greenville". Highly recommended!!

We had a wonderful two day stay at the Pettigru! Lori and her staff are simply wonderful. They went the extra mile making sure we were comfortable and well cared for. On arrival, we went over the breakfast menu and I let them know of my food intolerances. I had a wonderful breakfast and on day two there, I even found some cookies made special order for me in our room. They didn't have to do that! It sure was appreciated though. Great place. Warm and homey.

Lodging at Pettigru Place is an experience, not just a stay. Lori and her Staff are simply amazing. We choose Pettigru Place each year and have always had an absolutely amazing time. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor. As usual breakfast was delicious. Everyone went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble.

It was very nice being back at the Pettigru Place again. Thankful that the Giraffe Room on the first floor was available because of Donna's bad knees. Meeting new guests is always a joy to experience. The breakfast each morning was marvelous as usual. The White Pineapple from Hawaii I brought with me was a huge hit with everyone. I throughly enjoyed the afternoon snack with a glass of red wine. The Peppermint Hot Chocolate was very good with breakfast. The homemade chocolate chip cookies were awesome. Just want to say thank you once again for another excellent and enjoyable visit. Lori and Randi you are welcome. Glad you enjoyed the Pineapple.
