Our 16th Anniversary was simply the best at Hotel Moraine! Our room with a view of the Sound was spectacular and the staff was so nice and accommodating ! Recommend to anyone seeking a special East End Long Island experience! Highly recommended

Spent one night in November for anniversary. They went above and beyond in helping with recommendations. The room and property are immaculate. Will definitely be back. The staff was great and very friendly. Love the fire pit and the view at sunset.

Wow, we have traveled all over the world and stayed in some incredible hotels and my husband and I both agree this is one of the Top 3 hotels we’ve been to. We can't say enough amazing things about our spontaneous decision to stay at Hotel Moraine! From the above and beyond service from Clark and James, to the spectacular views, to the rooms. We will certainly be back. The fire pits were so lovely. The live music was amazing. The sunset and beach were magical. We had our 2 year old and it somehow managed to be family friendly and luxury. They had free toys that kept her busy as we hung out and the warm blueberry muffins and fresh croissants for breakfast were a hit. We were also pleasantly shocked by the most reasonable prices of the room snacks and merchandise they sold. $4 for room pretzels? $40 for a bathing suit because we forgot my daughters? Unheard of. Both Clark and James checked on us at every turn. Bringing us waters, and calling all over town for specific requests. Thanks for a beautiful stay all around. We will be back.

To be honest, I booked this hotel at the last minute when the Soundview wanted us to commit to a 3 night stay in the off season!!! But I am so glad I did! The staff was absolutely exceptional - especially Robert - and the hotel was gorgeous and amazing!!! They were so accommodating even allowing us to switch rooms to be closer to the sound! Room was immaculate - stocked bar - fireplace - ac perfect - great views! The resort had cornhole and bocce ball - chairs for the beach - heated pool - amazing fire pits right outside the lobby. 5 minute drive to town and the wineries! So appreciated the text messages when the front desk was leaving. They made amazing recommendations for local things to do. It was really the perfect weekend! We will absolutely be back!

Location is amazing with views to die for,the rooms are beautiful .the staff are great very attentive and have lots of information the local area.. It's a quick drive to greenport which us a beautiful town .the hotel is brilliant space to relax and take a break from city live.

Celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary, we just wanted a quick getaway “out east.” For those reading who aren’t New Yorkers… “Out East” is what people living on the western part of Long Island call the towns and places east of them. Anyway…. The Hotel Moraine is exactly what we wanted. Fantastic location on Sound Avenue, literally steps from the LI Sound. Great pool with a great view, and the property has a cute little beach. It is minutes away from Greenport as well. It has all the amenities that you would want in a luxury hotel. Rooms have amazing views of the LI Sound . Spacious bathroom and a very comfortable bed was also appreciated. The hotel offers a nice complimentary continental breakfast and staff is very friendly and accommodating. What was most memorable was the vibe. Really friendly, laid back but attentive service. We bought two glasses of Prosecco at the bar, and simply enjoyed the view of the Sound right on their beach. Really great. Definitely returning!

My wife and I took our first family trip with our 3 month old. The staff at Hotel Moraine was super helpful from the day we made our rsvp. My wife spoke with Clark several times, who helped coordinate our room so we had a crib as well as facilitating our need to keep ice packs for our milk carrier, and other needs for the baby. The hotel itself is extremely beautiful, with panoramic views at all times of the day. Our room had a great outdoor terrace with chairs, in which we enjoyed mornings and evenings watching the water and sunset views. It was also conveniently located to the beautiful pool, where we spent a lot of our time. The staff was extremely professional, courteous and responsive, and we were always being taken care of. Babs was especially helpful in always ensuring we had anything we needed while at the pool! Though we were nervous about being "that family" with the baby at the pool, our daughter was calm and loved being on the ground, and the entire pool and outdoor area was extremely calm and serene. One of our favorite experiences was being able to walk down to the Hotel Moraine's private beach in the morning, to enjoy our coffee and listen to the waves before the sun rose high. We can't thank the staff enough for your hospitality and we look forward to many future stays at Hotel Moraine during all the seasons on the North Fork.

We had a perfect mid-week stay at the wonderful Hotel Moraine with our daughter, her husband, and her BF for family bdays. It is an intimate place in that there are only 20 rooms- though the property is large and exquisitely maintained. It was so friendly, with half a dozen multi generational family groups and an amazing staff that doted on us without being intrusive. The rooms and public area are comfortable and chic. Pool was a heated saltwater pool of decent size (I do laps). The beach was across a landscaped lawn, and rocks were removed so there was a sandy area for getting in. The sound is wide and open there, though much calmer than the ocean on the south shore. The light breakfast was generous, and there were cool touches each day (bday Prosecco in our rooms, frozen grapes and free ice cream poolside, and a snack/lunch menu to order from midday) it is not inexpensive but nothing is on the East End, and this definitely felt luxurious! We’ll be back!!!
