First stay at the oyo last night and was really impressed by the welcome, quality of the room and overall feeling of the place. If you want corporate standardisation try somewhere else. If you want good honest local run accommodation in the heart of the old dock land area, this is the place to stay, I’ll definitely be back!

Bargain room for under £50 Kindly swapped us to a room which was not above the bar and disco which meant on a Friday night we wasn’t disturbed. Breakfast was continental in a bag by the door but with a Wetherspoons a 10 min walk away was just as easy to “fill up” there. Lovely polite staff Clean, fresh linen Firm bed and a duvet like a cloud. Thank you and perfect for us.

We had Afternoon tea for two here and it was just great. The finger sandwiches were delicious and so many we couldn't eat them all. There was a huge variety of little cakes too. The tea pot was filled again and again and our waitress was delightful. The food was almost served immediately without having to wait around and was very fresh. Compared to other places this was such great value for money. It was only £8.95/person. Definitely can recommend.
