Horrible maintenance and customer service. I checked into my room garbage has a sponge empty tube of caulking, a used glove, a monster, and our roll of toilet paper was left in the counter covered with….something.
We didn’t complain at this point we actually own a hotel and understand that frequently maintenance doesn’t clean up after themselves.
Then after fully unpacking we went to shower to find the water not working at all. We called down to the desk to ask for maintenance to fix it and were told they don’t have maintenance on. Again fine we will just shower in another room for the night and it can get fixed tomorrow. I was told by two desk clerks that no they can’t do that. I could move rooms or I could shower IN THE POOL AREA. Excuse me. Absolutely not I am not paying for a room to shower in the pool area because you don’t have maintenance on and won’t provide any customer service whatsoever. We checked out and left. I am shocked at how awful that hotel was- problems happen but the customer service was some of the worst I have ever seen. Again I have worked in hotels for over 39 years at this point. I am well aware of how issues can and should be handled, with a focus on customer service and accommodating the customer.
