The service at the front desk was excellent, they provided us with all the information we needed for our stay. The view from the room was excellent as we were placed on a high floor and had an amazing view of downtown Vancouver. The furniture in the room was a little outdated, and the water pressure in the shower was a little weak. The location of the hotel was great as it was in a very central area of the city. Overall, our stay was a good one.

I booked a room for 3 persons. The location is in downtown, walkable distance to many places in Vancouver and right next to the shuttle to the suspension bridge, very close to the subway as well (but not the Canada line). The check-in process takes time as so many people in the line while the check-in staff is only 1 or 2. The elevator here is quite tricky for unfamiliar tourists like me, which the staff should have given us information at the check-in counter prior to use it. We got the high-floor room which is impressive for the view.

This hotel is best for cruise travel, because it is the nearest place for departure and arrival in Vancouver. Not only for cruise travel, but also the downtown and commerical area in Vancouver. The travel places which include Stanley Park ,conventional centre and gas town. The skytrain is just on the side of the hotel, you can use the sky train the other regions of Vancouver. I lived 4 nights there with my wife, they cannot provide free parking space for their guest. So that you cannot ask your friend come to visit you in the hotel. The view is the best from your hotel room. I can see the crusies in and out of the harbour and also see the seaplanes flying on the sky and landing on the sea bay. The charge for seaplane of the Vancouver city tour is 199 for each single person, but just half an hour. This hotel can provde you gym facilities and swimming pool. I recommend you to first time in Vancouver on this hotel.

GGuest UserI have some concerns regarding my experience at The Sutton Hotel. Firstly, I noticed that the front desk staff didn't seem very patient or eager to assist Chinese guests like myself. This made me feel somewhat unwelcome. Secondly, I found the hotel rooms to be quite dusty, despite our efforts to keep them clean. Surprisingly, the dust accumulated rapidly on the bedside table and telephone. I suspect that the air inside the room might be the cause of this issue, as even the air conditioning panel appeared to be covered in dust. I believe these observations are worth addressing by the hotel management to improve the overall experience for all guests, regardless of their nationality. It would be beneficial if steps were taken to enhance the cleanliness of the rooms and ensure a more welcoming and accommodating atmosphere for all visitors.

GGawMy stay at Accent Inns was great! Their service and facilities were excellent - they supplied me with an umbrella when it was pouring outside, the laundry facilities were great, the room was spotless and very comfortable. Shower, TV, fridge, AC were all really appreciated. I would definitely recommend this hotel when taking a flight to anywhere out of Vancouver. They also have a shuttle bus every half-hour to the airport. It can't be beat!

GGuest UserThe location is great, but whenever we use a hair dryer, we had to call front desk to turn on the power. If you want to use a hair dryer, avoid this hotel. Once you turn on a hair dryer, the entire room's electricity will be out. I did late check in, took a shower at 1 AM, and the power was gone. So we called the front desk, but nobody picked up the phone, and we slept with out any heater and lights. It was horrible, because this happened 3 times for 10 hours staying.

GGuest User<Fairmont Grand Vancouver> is also a hotel managed by Fairmont. Fairmont has always been the best at managing old castle hotels. The Fairmont Empress in Victoria, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Banff, and the Peace Hotel in Shanghai, which I introduced to you before, are all castle hotels managed by Fairmont. The hotel is located in a landmark building in Vancouver. The exterior is a bit like the Peace Hotel in Shanghai, and it is also a castle-style building. There are many doors designed to the outside, about four or five. Because it is located in the city center, four or five doors can lead to the main road. The side door is decorated with new chandeliers and simple furniture as a waiting room. In addition, the door for parking and dropping off passengers also uses new chandeliers, various leather sofas, and a coffee table made of suitcases. Take the elevator to the room. The space is not very large, with two large beds. Because it is a family of five, we booked the room in advance, so we arranged two rooms with a connecting door in the middle so that we can take care of each other. Opposite the big bed is a floor cabinet with a refrigerator. However, the refrigerator is a contact design. Once the beverage is taken out, the fee will be automatically deducted. Overall, although the area is not large, it is still quite comfortable to live in. The bathroom is a little small, and it looks not well maintained. Looking out of the window, you can see the Vancouver Cathedral. Because it is in the city center, the night view is very beautiful and the view is great. Although the hotel is a bit old, it is well maintained. When you come to the lobby, one door faces the street and the other door faces the interior of the hotel. The first floor is mostly rented to luxury brands, which is equivalent to stepping into the lobby and visiting many luxury stores. When you get tired of shopping, turn around and go out to the street, which is the center of Vancouver. There are countless high-end brand stores within a radius of 50 meters, and you can't finish shopping. Whether it is the heritage of historical buildings or the geographical location, it is unique. The most important thing is that you can choose to delay payment when booking a room. When I first placed an order, the room price was 3,500 per night, but when I was about to leave for Vancouver, I looked at the price and it dropped to 2,500. Fortunately, I chose to delay payment, and I checked out immediately and placed a new order. The original total room rate of more than 7,000 yuan ended up costing more than 5,000 yuan, saving a lot of money. You know, five-star hotels in Vancouver are very expensive, basically starting at 3,000 or 4,000 yuan, but this one can be bought for 2,500 yuan, which is very cost-effective. Secondly, the hotel management is very good. We arrived at the hotel before 10 o'clock in the morning. In theory, we couldn't check in yet, and we were ready to go out after storing our luggage. As a result, when we checked in, we were told that the room had been cleaned up, which was really a surprise. Overall, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is a cost-effective choice. The check-in experience is very good, and the location is impeccable. It is recommended to stay.

SShelleywowThe SureStay was a great hotel! I only stayed one night, but definitely would come back as the service was exceptional. From shuttle driver to front desk, all employees were friendly and helpful! The breakfast was also enough to start your day. The location of the hotel was why I picked it, as Minoru Park was directly behind it. I had a lovely and secure walk about. Open spaces, huge trees and wildlife (ducks and rabbits) made the visit interesting. The front desk recommended a very nice restaurant right across the street from the hotel for dinner. It had a nice atmosphere and Happy Hour prices gave an inexpensive meal for the evening.

AanzhuzhuVery good location at a great price! Highly recommend this place especially with amazing staff and daily housekeeping! The building itself is definitely slightly aged, but it's evident that the current management/owners are doing their best to improve the facilities. The good - affordable coin laundry, communal kitchen, very big rooms, amazing rooftop patio and sauna, impeccable location in Vancouver downtown The not so good - no breakfast options, communal kitchen's own pots and pans look iffy, slightly aged facilities (but the communal areas are definitely renovated in recent years) Will stay again if I'm ever in that area!

DDubious deposit required and lengthy refund of it!The room looked like it was recently redone so it was clean with comfortable bed with white towels. Upon check in reception stated we did not have breakfast included and that a deposit of $100 was required but I would receive it back within 2-3 days on my c. card. I already prepaid online for the room which was $386 with taxes I later checked my voucher and it did say we had a breakfast for 2 so I brought it down in the reception gave us 2 breakfast vouchers. Breakfast cost is $15 per person minus 20% as a hotel guest normally. The breakfast does not include drinks only water. There was bacon, scrambled eggs, pan cakes, bread for toasting and hash browns. I went to the hotel reception and retrieved coffee & tea from the reception machine. Upon check out the gentleman now at reception said a $200 deposit charge would be refunded in 2-3 weeks! I asked why so long as I can get my money on a store return in a day!?! He didn’t have a clear answer. Anyways, I guess I’ll have to wait and ensure it does go on. I’m not sure why such a big deposit charged and why it would take weeks to refund…something fishy on this part but we’ve been there and can’t change it. However , I am dubious to use Choice Hotels - Quality Inn & Suites again since it seemed inconsistent as to the staff knowing why they charge a high amount and the return time. I also had booked a Choice Hotel for our return home and had put the incorrect date in by one day. They would not modify it and only cancelled it and still charged me! So their billing is skcetchy to me and that was my dealing with 2 of their Choice Hotel units

GGuest UserThe hotel location is different from the trip.com page , must reconfirm with host. The check in process is easy. However the first night is really nightmare , I arrived late and when I went to washroom , the washroom seems not being used for long time , dusty with two big spiders in the shower place, I was so scared to use it and also the room was freezing cold at night because it is in first floor and no heating . Other than that, the location is quite safe and bus stop is right outside the house and 10 min to Richmond skytrain station which easily to access to city with 1hour. The room also spacious and clean with comfortable furniture.

CCrAzYd426This hotel Actually Better than I expected coz the reviews said it sucks……🤪 I think not too bad indeed tho I haven’t visit the gym yet…. I have no complaint for the room, I think it’s good to have microwave and coffee machine in the room and the lobby has coffee machine with different choice of coffee, it’s so good! 😊 Also there is a Korea Town (about 5 minutes walking from Lougheed Town Center Skytrain Station, this hotel about 10-15 minutes walking distant from the Lougheed Town Center Skytrain Station). There are many restaurants nearby, also there is Lougheed Town Centre (a shopping mall) it’s so convenient 👍🏻 I think it’s ok to stay a night or two but of coz the cleanliness and management could be better 😉 #RamadabyWyndhamCoquitlam #Coquitlam #Vancouver2024
