The Hyatt was amazing with great service from the moment we walked in the door. We were able to leave our luggage while we waited for our room so we could explore the city. They were wonderful and cleaning our dirty towels and changing beds each day, the outdoor pool and hot tub were a welcome site after long days of walking.
The only downside was the lack of restaurant access. 1 restaurant is barely open and the other is so high priced and doesn't deliver to your room. Thankfully Skip the Dishes was an option. Starbucks right in the lobby, can't go wrong with that!!

You can reserve Cambie Hostel Gastown online (recommended, about $29/night, w/small deposit about 15%) I am a Travel Advisor, traveling and booking travel is my job. I book 4 and 5 Star hotels, cruises, land tours and more, but found when I go on a cruise to Alaska and starting my cruise in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada l like hanging out downtown Vancouver. Vancouver is beautiful, lots to do, and Cambie Hostel Gastown is close to the cruise port (walking distance, with 1 rolling luggage, about 5 blocks), safe, with great bars and restaurants. If you take Greyhound, the bus station is a block from the rail (2 bucks for seniors, I am 65), go north towards Cambie Hostel Gastown, at stop walk about 5-6 blocks (or take taxi). Once you are there, make sure your credit card was cleared with bank (call ahead and let them know you are traveling abroad, if required), pay, get keys, drop bags in room, then go out and enjoy all that Vancouver has to offer. Cambie Hostel is attached to a bar, party on, with young travelers from all around the world, so enjoy interacting with them during your stay. I am going back in 3 wks for another Alaska cruise. i enjoyed the hotel resort..Conveniently located in Richmond...Easily accessible to everything. Preferable to have a car. Sky train was avail , but we had our own vehicle. Resort fees includes the parking which is good compared to other hotels nearby that charges $50/night for parking. I definitely would recommend to stay here. Room sizes are large, good entertainment.

Our stay started off really well. Front desk staff were very friendly and let us check in early. I went to have a shower before going to the concert we were in town for and found that the tub drain was plugged and the tub not draining. I had received a txt earlier ask how the room use and to text if we need anything. So I text that the tub was are draining. I did not get a response and left the room to go out. We thought we would come back the drain being unplugged but instead came back to nothing done. We went to the front desk to ask for a plunger to try and fix ourselves as it had been 7 hours and still no response. We tried to plug the drain but it did not help. When we returned the plunger the front desk person offered us another room but being in out pj’s and it after midnight we stayed in the room. They said maintenance would be back at 7am. We went to check out at 11, still no response to txt and no maintenance person to fix tub. The desk person apologized and offered us breakfast vouchers for the restaurant. We went to the restaurant but they would only give us bacon or sausage and eggs. Being vegan and vegetarian that was not going to work. The restaurant said they could not offer anything else. We went back to the front desk and the manager wouldn’t allow the front desk person to do anything else for unless we wanted McDonald’s. Looking forward to getting home tonight to shower.

Great location, easy access to a food court downstairs and also the Metropolis mall. Service is great, we requested for some toiletries and they came very fast. Easy to use app to communicate with the staff there, they are very friendly as well! Love the buffet breakfast, waitress was nice. The only downsides are the pools are bit small and not the cleanest we have seen. The gym is small comparing to the size of the hotel.

When we checked into the Ramada by Wyndham Coquitlam, the front desk clerk did not tell us that we would have to go outside, through the parking lot to get to the indoor pool. She also did not tell us we would have to go to the front desk to get towels for the pool. We had to ask another guest how to find the pool, we went there, only to have to return to the front desk to get our towels. She should have asked if we were going to use the pool, tell us where it is, and give us the towels as we were registering. We found out from other guests instead. Once we got to the pool, we found that the hotel had rented out the pool to a learn to swim class of a half dozen screeching, screaming 'tweenagers' who splashed constantly. The pool itself had such a hot temperature, it was anything but refreshing and definitely not relaxing with all that noise echoing in the pool room. Our room was on the first floor and the hallway from the front desk of this 'non-smoking hotel' was extremely smokey. I am allergic to smoke and this made it very uncomfortable for me. My daughter suggested that the staff 'outside smoking area' is likely near the clean air intake for the air conditioning system. That needs to be changed! I would not recommend to people to stay at this hotel at all.

We recently stayed at the Days Inn Langley location. Do not let the age of this hotel turn you off...it's well maintained - some areas show some wear and tear, but the rooms are large and the staff is exceptional. They were very accommodating to the group we were with and always pleasant to deal with! Wouldn't hesitate to book here again!

GGuest UserParadox Hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed at in a long time. We typically stay at Four Seasons, Fairmont’s, and other hotels similar to these types of hotels. Paradox had first class service starting at the valet (Marty), along with all individuals at the front counter. To top off our stay, we had Andrew from concierges that took great care of us, as he went above and beyond for my wife’s 40th birthday celebration. -I will be writing a person letter to Andrew, for all the amazing things he did to make our stay so memorable. It’s hard to put into words the results of our trip, as all of it was amazing, from the lounge (Megan/Morgan/Vanessa were all fantastic and were extremely friendly. To the Mansion nightclub, where everyone was fantastic and provided amazing service, as we decided to get table service for the birthday celebration. If anyone is contemplating staying at the Paradox, do not think twice about booking, you will not regret it. Also, amazing walking distance to so many amazing shops and restaurants. All-in-all, we will be back to see all the amazing people we met and we look forward to our next trip to the Paradox Hotel.

GGuest UserThis hotel could be so much better, especially for the price. On the positive side, the staff, including the concierge, Lisa, and the whole crew on the G floor are outstanding - the most friendly and helpful people. My suite was comfortable and quiet. The king size bed was firm. The air conditioner works well. The bathroom is big. The hotel location is good, near museums and Yaletown, with restaurants and boutiques nearby. The gym and the pool area are also good and, not many hotels in the city have an outdoor pool. The negatives are the extreme neglect regarding renovation and cleaning. For example, with COVID still an issue, after I checked in and stayed the first night in the hotel, I found an empty bottle of water behind the sofa and an used and dirty shirt near the bed. I did not noticed it immediately, because I arrived at 2 am and went straight to bed. To get my room cleaned daily was an ordeal. The hotel apologizes for being understaffed, but the prices were high, around CAD $5.500 for a week’s stay. If you cannot deliver the service, you should not be charging for it, The carpets and the curtains look old, dirty and shabby in the room and common areas. But by far the worse things about the Hilton Vancouver are the elevators. It is not unusual to wait 15 minutes, I am not exaggerating, to go from your floor to the lobby. I understand there is a shortage of workers in Vancouver, but some of the disappointing features of the Hilton could, in my opinion, be addressed by management that cares and is committed to providing guests with what they deserve based on their rates.

GGuest UserA very centrally located hotel. A continental style breakfast can be included in your stay. The room did have a galley kitchen with a microwave, fridge and oven. One down side was the lamps in the bedroom area. The switches were very dodgy. In fact we unplugged them and used only the main lights. The staff were very helpful.

GGuest UserI was on a business trip and was unable to get a room with the rest of my team at the Executive Hotel across the street. I was happy to get a room at Ramada at a discounted rate and it was perfectly comfortable and convenient, I did not feel like I missed out on anything by not being at the Executive with my colleagues. I would definitely stay again. My only issue was the heater in the room gave off bad fumes but luckily it wasn't cold without the heat on.

王王When I came to this hotel, we had daily breakfast and the hotel provided snacks and red wine once a day. On the first day I entered the hotel, I went to the lobby to eat at 7:00 pm. There was a Hong Kong man named JOE at the front desk of the bar. He could speak Chinese because I do not speak English. Well, I use a translator to translate the menu. The restaurant is dimly lit and the translator is small, so I can't see it clearly, so I asked him what kind of dish it is. , I said I understand, but you can't ask me? My eyes kept staring at me, I said my eyes were a little flowery, he kept laughing and said it had nothing to do with him, so he laughed out loud at the bar, very insulting, mad at me, and then said, what you just ordered is Noodles You Chinese can't eat spaghetti noodles. After talking for a long time, I ordered red wine and he asked me if you can drink red wine? He also questioned my order, I said it was free, he immediately asked another waiter to confirm in front of me if I was eating for free, and after confirming loudly, he said that you can go to eat and then you will have to pay, he said I always discriminated against Chinese people, and I kept saying Chinese Chinese..., but when I turned back to talking to foreigners, my face was full of smiles, so I went out to the duty manager to complain, and the solution was to upgrade me to a room, I asked him to apologize, He didn't apologize, saying that they have human rights here, so I wrote another complaint letter to the general manager. I didn't want much, I just needed an apology. Is this too much? It’s been almost two weeks and I still haven’t received a reply. I was going to stay for 13 days and I checked out early after 3 days. Because of racial discrimination and not being taken seriously, I will continue to go to their headquarters to file a complaint. (Hong Kong has returned, I know some People in Hong Kong can't accept it, I really can't think of such a thing in a five-star hotel), I won't stay at the Sheraton Hotel, the hotel restaurant service is so racially discriminatory
In addition: there is no problem with the work at the front desk and the service of the bellman. The air conditioner in the room is very loud. If the air conditioner is not turned on, the room will be quieter. I forgot a new hair dryer in the drawer, and the hotel didn't call me to say that I had forgotten it. RRazoGreat location! The room was basic but very comfortable. It was clean and complete with the basic in room amenities. I would say the price is on the high side, but at that point you are paying for the location. Front desk staff were great and extremely helpful. There is a whitespot restaurant attached to the building which was great, very clean and friendly staff. I would book this hotel again on my next Vancouver visit. It would be great if they could reduce the nightly rate slightly.

GGuest UserWe stayed in this property for just one night before our Alaska cruise. The location is it's USP and we actually walked down to Canada Place to board our cruise. The rooms are spacious and bright and there is complimentary coffee available in the reception. Eateries are all around and the Pacific Mall is within walking distance. We had a very comfortable stay!
