"It is a holiday when I go to see a child. The hotel is located in a quiet corner of the UBC campus, the air is very good, the scenery is not bad. The hotel should be a little old, the facilities are not new, but it is clean. It is a suite with a separate bedroom with living room, kitchen and small dining room. The kitchen utensils are complete. During the period of residence, I also simply made some meals for my son, which improved the food. With its own parking lot, parking is convenient, just $16 a day for parking. In general, if you go to school to see children, it is still very good."

"The check-in place was too hard to find. It was in another building. I parked my car in a public parking lot first, then looked for their check-in place, and then parked my car at their designated location according to their instructions. Parking and then getting to the room to check in was a bit complicated. There are no signs in their dedicated parking lot. You need to give you a card to park in the underground parking garage. Although there are some parking spaces on the road outside, they are all full! The room is quite big and clean. There are disposable toiletries, which are quite good. The price is not expensive, so it’s okay!"

"The hostess is super nice! She answered questions attentively and patiently. In order to facilitate the airport pick-up (extra charge), the host gave a clear map of instructions, and we arrived directly after a smooth reunion. The homestay is very close to the airport, and it takes about ten minutes to get there. The room is very warm and clean. There is a small living room with a refrigerator, coffee machine, washing machine and dryer. The bathroom has bath and shampoo products. You only need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste (I traveled light and did not check in my luggage, so I didn’t bring toothpaste. The host and his wife kindly gave me one, haha). This trip was also an adventure. I happened to book a tour group with the host, and I was well taken care of in the next few days. In short, the room was clean and hygienic, and the host was warm and hospitable. I highly recommend it!"

"It's probably not a hotel that looks like a remodeled old building, but an airbnb feel strong, so there is a kitchen and you can use it freely (I didn't use it). The entrance and exit are made with a number key, but it is available without facing you because it is sent by email. The accommodation was clean, and in my case, food and drinks were provided free of charge in the room. The host was friendly. However, it is not always operated in the same way as a normal hotel, so you can not always see the manager. I will use it again next time if the price is appropriate ~"

GGuest UserI returned to this place because it was very clean stylish and the beds were incredibly comfortable. My sister and I both really enjoyed it. The front desk was very accommodating and it’s very central to all the best shops and perfect for a place to stay when you’re about to go on a cruise from the port

GGuest UserMy husband and I stayed overnight in Vancouver to see a hockey game. The hotel is close to many amazing restaurants within walking distance. It is also close to Rogers Stadium so that is always nice so we don’t have to pay for parking or cabs. The staff were amazing and accommodating as we’d asked to have a room with a balcony, which they were able to do. We had dinner out but had brunch in their restaurant which is on the 5th floor. The atmosphere was so magical, all decorated for Christmas but it was also warm and inviting. For whatever reason (maybe bcause it was a Tuesday morning) we were the only ones in the restaurant until half way through our brunch, then only one other couple shared the dining room with us. The food was INCREDIBLE and our server Lee was the sweetest most kind person I’ve ever meet. After our brunch we sat by the fireplace with our coffees, relaxing before our 12 pm checkout. It felt like we were in a Manhattan brownstone. We will definitely be coming back in the future and certainly will recommend this hotel to our friends. Staying at LHermitage was an oasis in the midst of a very hard 3 weeks of me just having lost my mom. Thank you 🎄❤️

GGuest UserI booked a room for 3 persons. The location is in downtown, walkable distance to many places in Vancouver and right next to the shuttle to the suspension bridge, very close to the subway as well (but not the Canada line). The check-in process takes time as so many people in the line while the check-in staff is only 1 or 2. The elevator here is quite tricky for unfamiliar tourists like me, which the staff should have given us information at the check-in counter prior to use it. We got the high-floor room which is impressive for the view.

JJanez VoDear Hotel Manager, I hope this message finds you well. I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn/Hilton in Vancouver and wanted to share some feedback regarding my experience with the front desk team. Unfortunately, I found the level of service to be below the usual high standards I associate with the Hampton Inn/Hilton brand. Specifically: I arrived at the hotel at 1:00 a.m. on December 15, 2024, and was informed by the front desk staff that I could not sit in the lobby because my check-in time was 3:00 p.m. The staff member's approach felt dismissive, and I was asked to leave the lobby, which was disappointing after a long journey. Upon arrival, I even cant not have a cup of water, and it was not provided. Is this due to hotel policy, or was it an oversight? Basic services such as offering water to arriving guests are often considered a courtesy and can greatly improve the guest experience. Additionally, the front desk staff seemed inattentive during check-in and did not address my concerns effectively. This lack of professionalism left me feeling unwelcome. I understand that managing guest interactions can sometimes be challenging, but I believe addressing these issues could significantly improve the experience for future guests. Thank you for taking the time to review this feedback. I appreciate the effort your team puts into ensuring high-quality service and hope this feedback helps uphold the reputation of your brand.

But the toilet's water tank was leaking water, doesn't affect using it but kind of frustrating and it need to be fixed. Other than that everything is perfect! It's my second stay in here and I recommend for travelers looking for airport accommodations! :)

GGuest User<Fairmont Grand Vancouver> is also a hotel managed by Fairmont. Fairmont has always been the best at managing old castle hotels. The Fairmont Empress in Victoria, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Banff, and the Peace Hotel in Shanghai, which I introduced to you before, are all castle hotels managed by Fairmont. The hotel is located in a landmark building in Vancouver. The exterior is a bit like the Peace Hotel in Shanghai, and it is also a castle-style building. There are many doors designed to the outside, about four or five. Because it is located in the city center, four or five doors can lead to the main road. The side door is decorated with new chandeliers and simple furniture as a waiting room. In addition, the door for parking and dropping off passengers also uses new chandeliers, various leather sofas, and a coffee table made of suitcases. Take the elevator to the room. The space is not very large, with two large beds. Because it is a family of five, we booked the room in advance, so we arranged two rooms with a connecting door in the middle so that we can take care of each other. Opposite the big bed is a floor cabinet with a refrigerator. However, the refrigerator is a contact design. Once the beverage is taken out, the fee will be automatically deducted. Overall, although the area is not large, it is still quite comfortable to live in. The bathroom is a little small, and it looks not well maintained. Looking out of the window, you can see the Vancouver Cathedral. Because it is in the city center, the night view is very beautiful and the view is great. Although the hotel is a bit old, it is well maintained. When you come to the lobby, one door faces the street and the other door faces the interior of the hotel. The first floor is mostly rented to luxury brands, which is equivalent to stepping into the lobby and visiting many luxury stores. When you get tired of shopping, turn around and go out to the street, which is the center of Vancouver. There are countless high-end brand stores within a radius of 50 meters, and you can't finish shopping. Whether it is the heritage of historical buildings or the geographical location, it is unique. The most important thing is that you can choose to delay payment when booking a room. When I first placed an order, the room price was 3,500 per night, but when I was about to leave for Vancouver, I looked at the price and it dropped to 2,500. Fortunately, I chose to delay payment, and I checked out immediately and placed a new order. The original total room rate of more than 7,000 yuan ended up costing more than 5,000 yuan, saving a lot of money. You know, five-star hotels in Vancouver are very expensive, basically starting at 3,000 or 4,000 yuan, but this one can be bought for 2,500 yuan, which is very cost-effective. Secondly, the hotel management is very good. We arrived at the hotel before 10 o'clock in the morning. In theory, we couldn't check in yet, and we were ready to go out after storing our luggage. As a result, when we checked in, we were told that the room had been cleaned up, which was really a surprise. Overall, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is a cost-effective choice. The check-in experience is very good, and the location is impeccable. It is recommended to stay.

AanzhuzhuVery good location at a great price! Highly recommend this place especially with amazing staff and daily housekeeping! The building itself is definitely slightly aged, but it's evident that the current management/owners are doing their best to improve the facilities. The good - affordable coin laundry, communal kitchen, very big rooms, amazing rooftop patio and sauna, impeccable location in Vancouver downtown The not so good - no breakfast options, communal kitchen's own pots and pans look iffy, slightly aged facilities (but the communal areas are definitely renovated in recent years) Will stay again if I'm ever in that area!

CCrAzYd426This hotel Actually Better than I expected coz the reviews said it sucks……🤪 I think not too bad indeed tho I haven’t visit the gym yet…. I have no complaint for the room, I think it’s good to have microwave and coffee machine in the room and the lobby has coffee machine with different choice of coffee, it’s so good! 😊 Also there is a Korea Town (about 5 minutes walking from Lougheed Town Center Skytrain Station, this hotel about 10-15 minutes walking distant from the Lougheed Town Center Skytrain Station). There are many restaurants nearby, also there is Lougheed Town Centre (a shopping mall) it’s so convenient 👍🏻 I think it’s ok to stay a night or two but of coz the cleanliness and management could be better 😉 #RamadabyWyndhamCoquitlam #Coquitlam #Vancouver2024
