The place was beautiful and the staff were lovely, however I have to give it a two as the amount of spiders were awful, me and my daughter had massive spiders in our room leading to us being kept up throughout the night. If u don’t like spiders, do not come here the spiders are bigger than your hand to put it into perspective!

This hotel is exceptional in every way. Staff extremely friendly. Room wonderful. Location stunning. Food exceptional. Yes the plunge pool was too cold to use but that is down to the time of year we went. The Hunters Hotel is available to use with its gym. 2 nights not enough!!

Beautiful setting ! Gorgeous room with your private terrace overlooking the valley. Large sitting area and bedroom. In winter the fireplace is lit up at night: so cozy! Large bathroom and good shower. There is also an outdoor shower. Absolutely perfect accommodation. Staff is wonderfully helpful Breakfast is extremely good.

We had the most wonderful relaxing stay at Tsala. It was just ‘perfect’, from the welcome to the amazing suite we had and the fabulous food. Even after 24 hours we felt relaxed and refreshed. The peace and tranquility of this amazing hotel was second to none, we felt we had it all to ourselves. I can’t recommend enough.

This place is AMAZING! We only stayed 2 nights during our trip but it did not disappoint! Beautiful property and very welcoming staff. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the bar was fully stocked. Amazing views and the food was delicious! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

It was my husband’s birthday, and they prepared a surprise for him during the dinner! They sing happy birthday (it was amazing) and we have a beautiful and delicious cake. During all the stay the staff was so warmly and attentive. The hotel is wonderful and the rooms are incredible! We had dinner in all three restaurants inside the hotel, we enjoy all, Zinzi is the best! I definitely will come back soon! The place is magical!

This place is just ‘wow’. We arrived after dark and the staff were expecting us and made us feel so welcome. The tree top lodges are incredible - we were in no. 10. You feel like you are in your own piece of paradise. Although it would have been even better if the plunge pools were heated ( it being the start of winter) the pool area was beautiful and relaxing. The lodge itself had two very large and spectacular rooms - the bedroom and the lounge - with a fireplace between. A huge shout out to Lloyd, who prepared a beautiful fire every night after dinner. The bathroom was pretty amazing too, and there was also an outdoor shower. We had dinner twice at Zinzi’s because it was just so good and very reasonably priced, and then the staff laid on a private dining experience in the main house which was a lovely touch. Just simply an experience we will never forget and there was so much to do in the area including going to Monkeyland, Birds of Eden and Central Beach in Plettenberg Bay itself. One day we would love to go back!
